Paluxy Heritage Park

A great place for a family picnic. The kiddos had lots of fun on the playground and allenjoyed the river walk.

Great place to walk. Out here after dark and you’re likely to get at least talked to by sheriffs office. Lots of historic buildings and markers on park, as well as river walk that connects into Big Rocks and crosses the dam.

It was a nice park with a good-sized play area, plenty of seating and tables. Someone's dog was off leash and came up to harass mine, but other than those poor manners, the children around all played nicely with each other. There is a party that takes you closer to the water.

Located right on the river and next to restrooms. Very little parking for large crowds. Beautiful grounds. Nice covered pavilion with picnic tables and garbage cans.

Excellent park. Nice playground and clean public restrooms. Highly recommend to all that have kids.

Beautiful scenery. The park was enjoyable to our granddaughter.

Great park for a step back in time, a picnic, a walk along the Paluxy River (to Big Rocks Park) or a visit to the Master Gardener's garden.

Beautiful park with plenty of paved walking area. Large pavilion and plenty of seating, but not much for toddlers to play on...that being said, it would be good for children that are a little older. The historic buildings are a nice addition. Bonus points for restrooms.

A great place to get connected to your ancestors! A beautiful walking trail next to the river. A sweet little gem, for someone who wants to get off the beaten path of the big city. A great place to come and fish. I found out from the locals that they stock it with rainbow trout! So bring your pole.

I had a large open covered area to enjoy a good sized playground we took floaties and stuff down to the River flooded around the river the only thing I could say would need improvement would be some stairs on one of the corners with a very long to help get it out of the water because the mud you sink in over a foot deep trying to get up. Other than that wonderful place to take the family.

Me and my wife spend a lot of time here, we love this park. I grew up swimming in that river back before the river walk was built, and took my wife on many dates here after it was. This place holds a special place in my heart and as well as the hearts of many in this small town. If your looking for a relaxing walk or want to do some fishing with family or maybe trying to impress a special lady. I recommend stoping by and checking this place

Such a beautiful park to spend some time outside. Lots of places to sit and have a meal on the river!

This is a nice clean place to visit and relax. It has a family pavilion, playground for the kids, walk or bike pathways and a river walk. The river walk ends at the Big Rocks park. It has a few benches along the way with plenty of shade trees and it is lighted as well. Each bench has a trash can nearby for your litter and doggy doo pickup stations. The park also has a few old structures that were moved there for historical preservation for tourists and community members to enjoy.

Beautiful park. Safe , rest rooms, new hot top walkway around the river. I really enjoy convincing her.

Lovely park. Really enjoyed the large picnic table! This place had a lovely pavilion and many regular picnic tables; however, we needed a larger one; but, the pavilion was being used, so the large picnic table was a blessing.
