Hampton Inn & Suites Port Aransas

Talk about a NIGHT AND DAY difference between Hampton Inns.....the previous night I stayed in Brownsville.

This one was reasonably priced, albeit the parking lot was empty.

The bed was good not great. I want to feel like I'm floating on a cloud. Smaller pillows just seem weird to me.

The room and bathroom were very clean which was appreciated.

I didn't hear any noise throughout the night which was awesome.

Lastly, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was complimentary and baller. Well done!

A great location for enjoying the island and it's nature loving activities.

A great value! Breakfast had hood bacon and eggs and the coffee was delicious. Beds were so comfy. Staff at the desk super friendly. Will come back.

After the dumps we stayed in the nights before, this hotel was a welcome sight! I loved everything about it. Clean, smelled good, nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast - all of it!

This is a great hotel. Everything is clean and tidy and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. Special shout out to Margaret at the front desk for her helpfulness and hospitality. Thanks for a great stay!

Easy in and out 1 night visit! The evening at the pool was relaxing, the room was clean but the facet in bathroom tub needed assistance. Room was Very cool from heat wave.

Everything was nice at the hotel but what caught my attention and was the highlight of our stay was this:
We were having breakfast (which was delicious!) and a mom with her two little ones were on one of the tables… her toddler was being a toddler playing 😅 but suddenly we heard that this baby fell of from a chair and started screaming! The mom had also a baby in her arms and was trying to manage helping her toddler while carrying her baby. Out of the nowhere a lady from the staff, her name is Kathie! Came to her with a snack to help the toddler calm down but of course that didn’t work lol. So she ask the mom for the baby and started playing with him/her so the mom could focus only on her toddler and calm her down. I’m a mom and I know this lady was a angel sent from above for this mom who was struggling!!! I really appreciated that and before we left I thank her for what she did. Hands down the nicest staff at a hotel we have ever stayed in!

Everyone is so nice ..the breakfast were nice cleanest area at any hotel I have stayed ..enjoyed all of the greeters at the front desk..

We had to find a last minute hotel on July 4th, and this one had an opening. Bob(I think that was his name), was extremely helpful. He was very polite and made checking in easy. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The only issue was the tub was extremely slippery and there was no hand soap. Breakfast was good and the entire staff were extremely polite.

Great location near beach, jetties, ferry. Nice breakfast compared to a lot of other Hamptons. Staff was super helpful as we had a large group. I had to modify the reservation several times and they were accommodating and tolerant of our craziness. Housekeepers here are so friendly and do a FANTASTIC job!

This Hampton Inn is well run and located close to the beach and the town without being in the middle of the vacation town’s congestion.
There are no surprise fees like cleanup that condos charge.
There is a free breakfast until 10 am, a nice clean pool, and a hot tub.
The staff is friendly and welcoming. And the price is reasonable for Port Aransas.

Ashley was amazing, we had a baby with colic and she did everything she could to make sure our stay was great.

At check in we had a situation with the room and Sebastian fixed it for us immediately. he was amazing He was very helpful as was all of the staff. Very clean , the pool was great , the breakfast in the morning was amazing

I used a flashlight and magnifying glass and couldn’t find not one hair on my sheets, they were clean. Inspected the bathroom for hair, sand, any sign of a human previous to me, couldn’t find any evidence, safe to say the room was immaculate, cleaning service might work for a crime scene unit to be this detailed, even the framework on the wall, zero soot or dust, it was paradise for an asthmatic. I checked the mattresses for bed bugs, none. The AC blew as cold as you wanted or heated you up like a burrito. The breakfast was excellent but did in fact have limited options, however, they kept the area stocked and cleaned around the clock, 7am-10am Breakfast.

Waffles were really good by the way, not a waffle fanatic but the batter was tasty.

It’s not a luxury hotel but checked all of the boxes for your essentials, I can’t say not one thing bad about this place, and trust me, I was looking for something. If anyone says anything different, they must have had to have been in a mad mood or just looking to be negative.

Great hotel. We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and pretty good location. Just a mile away from the beach. This hotel is also dog-friendly.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming from our arrival to our departure. The breakfast every morning was awesome and more than restaurant quality. Thank you so much for a perfect stay during our honeymoon.

The hotel is located in Port Aransas which is a barrier island of Texas relatively close to corpus Christi. The hotel is real convenient to the main area of town with plenty of shopping and good restaurants. Unfortunately it does not provide ocean views. Very few in Port Aransas appear to offer ocean views as an amenity. As Beach hotels go this is probably the best I've stayed at for the price point. The hotel does offer warm buffet breakfast which is for the most part most likely offerings from Ben e Keith but again very well done for the price point.

Good price, decent breakfast. The room was large, the pool hours were nice and long! Only complaint was the condition of the shower and a nasty pill left on the floor that my baby found. Otherwise definitely worth the money! Highly recommend!!

Had an amazing stay here! Everything was so good. The receptionist was extremely nice and very helpful! The room was very clean and spacious! The restroom was also very clean! The breakfast was good as well, lots of options! Well definitely be coming back.
