Chayo's

This place is amazing! The foods is very fresh and super filling.
We tried the Papas Locos, a giant burrito, stuffed avocado, and chicken quesadilla. I loved the fact the quesadilla wasn't just meat and cheese.

Great food, prices, and staff.

I come from Chicago where we have just as many Mexican restaurants as we do Starbucks so I'm very picky with my burritos.

But believe me when I say this, the food here is great!

I had the Chayo's Burrito Grande and enjoyed every bite of it.

I also found out they have an array of Breakfast Burritos. Needless to say, I will be back.

Don't believe me? Just look at the constant flow of customers they have when you visit.

Came on taco Tuesday and tacos were only ¢99! The cheese and bean burrito is heaven! 😋 And they got cokes imported from Mexico! 😳 extremely good overall would definitely recommend!

WOAH!! This tiny taco shop in Gilmer, Texas has taken me right back home to San Luis Potosi. I ordered 3 street tacos al pastor, an elote, and a mexican coke.
First off, you are greeted warmly and the hostess is happy to answer menu questions.
The shop offers indoor and outdoor seating, and the wait for the meal is short
The service is impeccable, the tortillas are homemade and the salsa is great! This is currently the most authentic al pastor I have tried in northeast Texas, and would absolutely drive out of my way for these tacos.
Pleasantly surprised by this little gem and can't wait to come again to sample more of the menu.

They have great food and a great atmosphere!!! We love it and can not wait to go back! The salsa's are just right! You sure are missing out if you haven't stopped by!!! Love the music too!!! We need a dance floor!!

First time eating there yesterday and it was so good! We all ate the birria tacos and chips with salsa and queso. Waited about 35 minutes for the tacos but it was well worth the wait. 10/10 will return more when the 2nd location happens in Longview.

This place is amazing! We tried the tacos and chicken quesadilla. Sooo sooo good! The quesadilla was big enough to feed all 3 of my kids! And you seriously have to get chips and queso, it completes the meal! We have been back several times now. My kids always ask to go to CHAYO'S! The service was great. Super friendly and helpful! GREAT FOOD, GREAT PRICES, GREAT SERVICE!! We'll definitely be back!

Delicious AUTHENTIC OUT OF THIS WORLD Mexican food!!! This establishment surpasses the average Mexican restaurant. It captures the essence of the Mexican cuisine straight from the motherland. No other restaurant comes close to this BEAST. Satisfaction guaranteed.

You get so much food for the price. My favorite is the chicken quesadilla on a 12" tortilla and it's about 1/2" thick. Today I had the nachos, shared and still have leftovers. Highly recommend

If you haven't been to Chayo's yet you are missing out! The best Tortas I've ever had and I tried Elote in a cup for the first time and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Love this place! I eat there often! My oldest son requests it when I have lunch with him at school! It will NOT disappoint!!! Authentic Mexican food. Worth the drive to Gilmer!!!

This is my favorite place for Mexican food! I live in Longview and it’s well worth the drive to Gilmer. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re missing out!

Good stuff! Great, friendly staff and a drive-thru. Would recommend calling ahead if going through the drive-thru. Love it and quickly became a favorite of mine.

Very good food and lots of it. Its a bit of a drive-thru wait but thats to be expected. Haha its NOT fast food. Its YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY food.
