We are from NY and have to say this pizza is delicious. Also the Italian Chef salad. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely go back.

This place was really good, great atmosphere, wait staff was amazing and food was delicious 😊 I had the sausage it was loaded with sausage bell peppers and onions the sauce was awesome. We also had the mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms and the meat lovers pizza 😋

Giovanis is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious. Always hot. Always fresh bread is great. The owner and waitress we always have is savannah are both super super friendly. I would highly recommend any and everyone to go there. Kid friendly should not loud music. I have both restaurants and it is wheelchair accessible. It's parking is right off the side of the street located in gilmer, texas, right downtown.

Fantastic taste, excellent service, hot when picked-up, perfect amount of everything on top! Crust was a tiny bit tough but I will be back again and again! Super priced too 🍝🥗🍕👨‍🍳

Omggg. I'm almost mad at myself for ordering from here because I live almost 4 hours away 🥴 I love pasta and when i was heading back to our travel trailer this afternoon I just wanted some fettuccine Alfredo but didn't want to go all the way to Longview so I just Googled to see if there were any local Italian places but honestly didn't expect there to be. But I found this place and ordered and got a bit more skeptical bc it was ready quickly and only was $13. So I brought it home and set it on the table and almost an hour later got a chance to sit down and eat and after 1 bite I HAD to go find my phone to leave a review before I forgot. So tomorrow if some crazy lady comes in and orders like five orders of fettuccine alfredo to go don't mind me im just stocking up for when I'm back in setx and the best Italian option is olive garden 😅😂

My husband and I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and creamy pasta dish with mommy’s Ingredients. Felt like I got transported to Italy. We had fried cheese sticks for appetizer with marinara sauce, the best I’ve ever had. This is what fried cheese sticks are supposed to taste like! We were waiting for our order , we saw two huge salads brought to someone’s table, our jaws dropped, looked wonderful!

I can’t say enough about it, best Italian restaurant we’ve been to (besides New York of course) hands down. And we’ve been to a lot.

We talked to the Italian guy making the pizzas ( fire brick oven pizzas) and he said his mom is from Sicily and works in the kitchen. Used to live in New York but moved here. It’s as authentic as you’re going to get. Try it out, you’ll want to keep coming back.

I got to enjoy my plate of veggie stir fry. The noodles were absolutely delicious. The bell peppers were cooked perfectly and the seasoning on the dish overall was just to my liking. Nice place for an Italian date night!!!

Wonderful food and atmosphere!!!! Our server was very attentive and the staff was very friendly. We started off with the breadsticks and olive oil........so good! I had the lasagna and my husband had the beef ravioli, both with side salads. We totally enjoyed every bite. The ranch dressing was also great. The servings were large and we both had to get carry out boxes. I ran back in another time to have a slice of pizza. It was delicious too!!!! We are so happy to have this great restaurant in Gilmer! Shop local and support our local establishments. We were too full to try dessert, but hopefully will try that soon.

Our first visit! Cant wait to return. Our server was a great, well informed young man who sells your product to perfection! We had a stuffed pizza, regular meat lovers and spaghetti with meatballs. Everything top notch! Loaded with cheese, cheese, cheese! Fast service. Nice location! Well done!

This is the best place to get pizza or real Italian food in gilmer tx

We just moved to Gilmer about 2yrs ago from Maine we have been looking for a good Italian restaurant and take out we have found it in this place and are so glad. We purchased from their take out menu (spaghetti and meatballs with one sausage and regular sauce for two the meatballs and sauce a lot like our Italian restaurant at home in Maine not a corporate run business. Being from New England we have a lot of Italian food and restaurants there and our taste buds were heighten to back at home taste and that's great we LOVE IT nice to have you back open. We will be back keep up the good flavors and we hope you bring back to the menu Italian sandwich that's called Italian sub. Love Your food.

Everything was amazing. The service, the atmosphere, and most definitely the food. Even my picky eaters were in love. The pizzas are huge. For sure a new family favorite!

Best pizza place hands down. Nice folks. Most Definitely a great pillar of the community. Sauce is on point. Drinks are cold. Good atmosphere. Family Oriented.

The food is great but they told us that sadly, today is the last day of business. When they close (in 22 minutes) they will not be reopening. This building will be a country cafe (diner) in about a month. New owners, mostly same staff.

Delicious food, great people! Try their fried raviolis! Very Yummy! Very authentic italian style pizza. Not many places around here make a good .arinara, but they do!
