La Bodega Mexican Restaurant & Bar

The best thing about this restaurant is the food always taste very fresh. I never get old food. The staff is very friendly and service is great. The atmosphere is very unique. It has a great bar upstairs as well as a nice dining room area that feels like you’re in an atrium of sort. If you leave here hungry, it is your fault. You get more than your moneys worth.

The food has plenty of flavor and the portion size is just right!
Seems like 6pm is when a lot more people show up for dinner so I recommend going just a little bit before that.
Chicken Enchiladas plate on the left & The Mexican Plate Special is on the right. Chips and salsa are provided as soon as you sit down.
Music is playing, but not at a loud volume so you can enjoy a conversation and background music at the same time.

Wow! Both the ambiance and food are spectacular. Authentic Mexican food for sure. The corn they use is like in Mexico-just amazing and packed full of flavor. The taquitos of beef fajita are packed with flavor and very tasty. The charro beans that come with the meal are out of this world. The flautas remind me of the rolled tacos from California. They were amazing and super flavorful. Service was impeccable. We arrived before some large groups but service didn’t disappoint.

I was born and raised in Odessa. I've since moved out of state but when I come back home, this is where we go right after leaving the airport. I went 4 times in 9 days my last trip. It's simply the best. The chicken chile relleno is the best thing going and the enchiladas and tacos are also great. Best restaurant in Odessa IMO.

I go here to eat at least once each month. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic. My personal favorite is the beef fajita nachos covered with onions, jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole. This is my favorite place to eat in Odessa!

It's good, but I expected more Mexican flavor.

Fast and friendly service. Staff is always super nice and they seat you quickly. Food is always super delicious and the portions are amazing. They are not shy at all and I hope it never changes because you definitely get what you pay for. They even have a enclosed patio are for the summer time, it's nice to sit in there and it's a very family friendly restaurant. One of our favorites in town, never lets us down.

Thus place is absolutely deeeeeelicious!!! I decided to be adventurous and try the chili renello with raisins and walnuts, which, I've never tried like that before, phenomenal!!! My husband got the enchiladas and we shared a pork shank appetizer, fabulous. No greasy mess, just good tasting food!!

Order on uber, asked for a drink and said i was having a bad day (semi truck broken video to be posted later on my YouTube channel) and the note and the fact they personalize my order for me had me saying Wow...then trying the food...hell yea it taste very good. I definitely will be hitting this place up again!!

By any measure this landmark establishment ranks among elite Mexican restaurants! Full parking lot? Check! People waiting to get a table? Check! (We waited less than ten minutes at 6:30p on a Friday night.) Friendly wait-staff? Check! Good chips and salsa? Check! I asked our waitress, Anabilla, for a recommendation. "Try our unique chile rellenos. Orginal recipe with raisins and pecans on top!" BEST. RELLENO. EVER!

I had no idea a place like this was here. I LOVED the dining room we were seated in. The water features, the closed in patio with trees inside. It felt amazing in there the entire time we were there. I usually try to eat and go as fast as possible, but I enjoyed the atmosphere too much. I like my beans, and their beans are absolutely amazing! The only negative to the entire experience was the seats. They are uncomfortable, but it was bearable. We will absolutely be going back. It's also affordable for solid portions. 7 of us had a bill for just over $100 (we didn't order alcohol). I would rate La Bodega a 10/10 if this would let me. I will have to update with pictures next time we go.

Excellent food and service. The waitresses were very attentive and courteous. Food was very delicious and worth the money. Definitely recommend!

Delicious tex mex, hit the spot for sure. Reminded me of the east texas mex food I am used to. Nice size portions as well.

La Bodega never disappoints. The nachos were perfect and the service was great. Atmosphere is perfect for families to enjoy, and they have a bar upstairs. We will be back, for sure.
