I visited the office in Gilmer today and the workers could not have been nicer. Heather, the supervisor, actually came to the car to answer our questions. There was no wheel chair available.

I've been trying to get food stamps since december and they keep asking me to keep bringing paperwork after paper work. I have a family of 4 new to Gilmer and couldn't even get emergency food stamps for one month. They asked me how my daughter is related to my son? Well they have the same last name, the same dad and me their mother I brought all or birth certificates.

the lady that answered the telephone refused to let me speak to a caseworker stating that there was not one in the office and said that what could she help me with and she refused to help me with the fact that I need emergency food stamps with her tone of her voice you could tell how hateful and unwilling she was to help me be careful if you're needing anything

A Lady there was very rude and dismissed me while I was trying to explain my case. I do not recommend coming here.
