Mi Piaci Italian Restaurant

The entrance and exit doorway painting is really nice and adds an inviting touch. The server is very friendly. All the food and drinks came out quickly and the meals were hot and were very good. The free rolls are so tasty and are piping hot. The servings are large. My only suggestion would be to place post on the outside of the restaurant so vehicles parking will not damage the restaurant front. Most of the columns need to be repaired. Also the handicap parking is hard to find and the ramp areas are placed in odd areas and in one area the ramp is blocked by someone parking. The front entrance door is extremely heavy and is compounded on a windy day. I had several people with me that had mobility issues and it would be impossible for them to open or hold the door open without someone present to help them. I am able bodied and the door was heavy for me. I would definitely come again.

Authentic Italian cuisine. No need to leave the country for amazing food or spectacular atmosphere. I lived here many years ago and would eat here often. I live 8 hours away now and still make sure I visit this spot upon arrival. As you walk in you are greeted promptly. The lighting and music perfectly sets the mood for the food you are about to experience. Yes. I said that right the food is absolutely an experience. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The restaurant is large enough for big parties and there is also a room in back for smaller party seating and also small booths in the back for more intimate meals. Waitstaff is very attentive. I cannot express how amazing the experience is in this restaurant is from start to finish. If I could give more than 5 stars I would but 5+.

As soon as I walked in, it smelled delicious. First they bring delicious ridiculously Fluffy bread, I would come back for the bread and marinara alone! Peach tea is tasty too. I got chicken Parma with meat sauce on the spaghetti but had already stuffed myself with bread and soup so only had a few bites. Pictures have only leftover bread and marinara sorry.

Amazing food and the portions are huge. Only one complaint is it is BYOB. We would have loved drinks but the food is so good the drinks are forgotten!

2/23/2023: I ordered the pasta sampler & it was absolutely amazing and fresh especially the Alfredo. The bread that was provided was so so good and tasted hot and fresh.

Our waiter was so nice and very professional and made the experience so much better. I believe this is the best Italian restaurant in Odessa by far.

We are big fans of Mi Piaci! We love everything here that we've ever tried! Food comes out super hot and tastes fresh! Once you arrive you get a batch of hot fresh bread. Ask for a side of Alfredo sauce to dip it in, promise you wont regret it! My absolute favorite is the shrimp Alfredo. My family enjoys pizzas, the Chicken Marsala, Chicken Alfredo. The serving sizes are usually serving sizes for 2 so come with a huge appetite or take your leftovers home!

Man all I got to say is you have to experience it for your self to taste the full flavor and to me traditional Italian deliciousness and hats off to the chef he nails this place spot on to the Taste 🫶🏽service was excellent 👍

Shrimp Fradiarolla🫶🏽

Excellent food! Pizza is great! And oh my goodness gracious the pizza is like 2 pizzas in one they are so big! Pastas are wonderful and oh the butter garlic bread is just mouth watering! Great place to take the whole family very comfortable settings! Awesome service too! Highly recommend!

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I've eaten at. The noodles were homemade, as was everything else. Bread was ever so soft and dense and buttery HUGE portions. And our waiter barely speaks English he's Italian even with the language barrier he got everything perfect and was very kind and accommodating. I can not say enough for this place and our server Sela. omg amazing! We got the tour of Sicily and the chicken and shrimp Alfredo!

First time going to Mi Piaci, and it was for a special occasion. I was recommended by friends to go. This place did not disappoint, it was all excellent! The dining area was nice,and the waitress was kind and attended to our needs. The food was pricy, sure, but we received massive portions and it all tasted great! If you don't mind spending a pretty penny, this place is worth a try!

i had my small wedding and everything was just perfect… Food was amazingly delicious. and service was perfect. We love the fact that it is Byob. We recommend for any special occasion.

I love Mi Piaci i highly recommend!! unlike the other Italian places they have amazing food, and they give you a great amount of food, i always get the shrimp alfredo here, i have tried Italian food in Lubbock & they gave you 3 shrimp with maybe 2 fork fulls of noodles, i will always come to mi piaci for my italian cravings

This place draws you in from the start, from walking down the hall with the smells and sounds and artwork and even the lighting. Smiles from every table and from every employee. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this restaurant. From outside, it looks small lol inside. It's like a giant Italian family working together. Everything was clean. the waitress was helpful with it being our first time in. She gave us plenty of time to order, and our food came quicker than we thought. Sundays just might be our day to go. Thank all y'all who run this place and keep it together. We will be coming again. I do have to say everything was bigger than we thought, so we had a lot of to go boxes. The Calzone was amazing lol bigger than any persons head. The Pasta Sampler was super cheesy, and a kid hit for fun to eat. The prices for everything seemed fair considering the amount you do get! $10-$25 per person.

Everything was really good. The bread that comes free is fresh and very tasteful.

The servers were very friendly and the portions were also very generous.

The food was very hot when it came out, but still really tasty.

I'd definitely go back. It gets pretty busy as well.

Excellent food, service, and ambience!

There is plenty of parking and the restaurant was deceptively large inside with LOTS of seating. Beautiful hand painted murals and lovely ambience.

The plates are plenty enough to feed two, so be ready for it!

The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The service was friendly, and quick. The food was amazing. The cheese pizza, the tortellini mi piaci, the tour of sicily, and calamari was all so good.

My son took me out to eat for my birthday. It was my first time here. Everything was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the eggplant parmiagiana. Excellent. Portions are huge and just perfect.

Was suggested this place while on a business trip and what a suggestion it was! The wine cream sauce in the shrimp romano I got was so good! The garlic bread was delicious as well. Very well seasoned and crispy outside with a soft inside. The bruschetta was okay. Could've been baked longer. It was more soggy than crispy but not gross or anything. The main entree was definitely the star! If I'm back I will definitely go again! You'll have to bring your own vino if you want to pair some wine with the delicious Italiano!

We’re new to town and like everyone we enjoy finding new places to eat. We also love to come back to those we really enjoy. This place is hands down awesome, staff was friendly, helpful, and laughed with us when we cracked jokes. Appetizers were tasty and perfectly prepared, our main dishes were hot and smelled tasty, all of our dishes were beautiful to look at and tasted great, our drinks were never dry and staff kept us happy. Defiantly will be coming back, and I hope more people know about this beautiful sit down restaurant. The food smelt so good I mixed about my food before getting a perfect picture, but once you try this place you’ll understand lol

This place was fantastic, I came here once before the pandemic and the pasta was to die for so the second time coming I was craving pizza. And as a regular at Grimaldis I must say that the portions are HUGE and the taste is spectacular! We ordered the margarita pizza with chicken and it was perfection!!
