Odessa VA Clinic

Back in 2018-2020 I would have rated the clinic 1 star. But they cleaned house and now the experience is awesome! I really took a leap of faith to go back and I’m so glad I did. Veterans- if you are thinking of trying out the VA in Odessa do it! It’s such a huge change in staff and way more welcoming!

For the most part the VA has been exceptionally good to me. I really love and care for most Dr's and nurse's and techs. Although let me add that yes there can be a bad apple. That happens in any organization. When VA farm's me out to a civilian Dr through veterans choice there is where I start to see a real problem.

As a Veteran, I'm grateful that we no longer have to drive to Big Springs. I just wish the VA would open up an urgent care clinic. Not all vets have insurance or can afford the cost of an outside facility. But, I'm still grateful for what we do have.

I've been to VA Clinics and hospitals in several different states. This one ranks top 3 to me.

I’ve always been treated with efficient and well qualified professionals. However, the contracting out to TriCare is a HUGE mistake.

Also known as, Permian Basin Outpatient Clinic. Friendly, caring staff. They try hard to get you in and done as quickly as possible.

I would thank the social worker that helped me when I was stranded at the pilot truck stop and got me to the odessa hospital

Very polite front desk attendants, nurses and doctors.

My last vist I had a much more positive experience than in the past. The nurses and staff were very helpful for a change. Hopefully they keep it up.

I have received pretty good service here overall. Dr. Edwards, the physical therapist, has been phenomenal.

I've found the clinic staff to be professional and available.
