Stripes

Heather is very friendly, always enjoy seeing her there. Normally works morning shift, but sometimes afternoon. Some of the younger cashiers are very rude, grab money out of your hand, busy checking their phone and not helping customers, roll their eyes and get upset when you try to correct them on the price of something.

There was this nice girl named rose she was nice and freandly she made my stop at that Stipes worth my time stoping there for gas and a drink

Ok so i understand when your a new hire been there & its not fun, this review actually goes out to the corporate officials of Stripes! If you can not handle the convenience part of it to your customers then you do not deserve to advertise yourselves as such! I'll get to the point, i drove around to 4 so called STRIPES convenient stores to try & reup on my Cash App debit card so as to hurry & make a deposit on a utiity. Every single store had new hires & did not know how to do this task! Come on STRIPES get with the program lets get your new employees better management!

8 bucks for 2x1.99 tacos, woman at the register said that's the rewards price. I asked if everything in the store was double for non members and she said yes. There isnt a single price on anything except the menu items, and they only had 2 things available with all the chairs still stacked on the tables at 8am... Got out to the truck and find out the company card didn't work at the pumps because it required a pin and wouldn't bypass to credit. Your tacos also have the thickest tortillas in Texas.

I hate giving this store even a single star!! This store lacks the basic courteous behavior towards their customers. Especially their GM Heather acts like she owns stripes. Her attitude towards me was rude. We are not getting anything free in the store, we pay for it so her attitude needs to be checked by her superiors. I Will never visit this store again! Or for that matter Stripes every again!! Keep up the good work Stripes!!!

Note sure how they expect to stay in business when they already have THE most expensive fuel in town and the convenience store inside looks disgusting and abandoned. See photos.

BAD EXPERIENCE

I pulled up into this gas to put air on my tires. The air pump is one of those that takes quarters ($1.50 for approximately 3-4 mins of use). I inspected the machine before putting any money into it. Seeing that it looked like it was in working order, I placed $1.50 in quarters into the machine and nothing happened. Wondering whether I had put enough money on the machine to make it start, I went ahead and placed $0.50 extra to no avail. After realizing that the air machine was not gonna turn on, I walked into the convenience store and asked the clerk for my money back. The clerk insisted that the machine had a sign that it was out of service. I had to stand my ground and asked to speak to the manager. Clerk then call the manager and I was finally able to get my money back... not without being treated to the customary attitude from the clerk.

It is bad enough that they have defective equipment on their premises; but if things are not working, the management/ownership needs to make sure such equipment is adequately labeled! So frustrating...

Spent $40 on tacos from Laredo Taco and everything was absolutely horrible. This guy used old hard tortillas that were cold and eggs were beyond dry. Pure laziness and horrible place to get food. This would have never happened down in South Texas.
