Hidden gem in Woodinville! Wonderful owners, great service and food. We ate lunch here midweek and it was not very busy. The Crab Sandwich was fantastic and the Prime Rib dip was very good too. We will definitely be coming back to eat here.

The owners work there! Imagine that! The chef, his wife, his adult kids - they got skin in the game. They care. It shows everywhere.

I’m so tired of being served but mostly forgotten. A chef and owner visiting your table? Asking questions? Having a conversation?

It doesn’t get any better.

Unless his life partner is your server!

New Year’s Eve we went for a 8 mile walk and wanted something special before an evening party. The tomahawk with lobster and veggies. Out of this world.

Then the chef came by to check on us. Found us very happy. Explained the difference between this massive steak and others. And we asked more questions. To a chef!

The vibe here is so different. Tables spread out. People saying hello to the family. Everybody feeling very special, engaged, and well-served.

Remember the days when owners cared about their business and their customers? I worked as a server for Bellagio with Chef Genaro opening day and he literally asked his servers and his guests how their meal was. Then he opened a 5-star restaurant in LA because he brought that level of intimacy with his guests.

And 522 Taproom is the same. Totally differentiated. Totally excellent meal, service and atmosphere.

I don’t write a ton of reviews but this place is truly exceptional. Don’t be fooled by the “Tap Room” title. This is a 5 star restaurant that happens to have an extensive beer selection. I am definitely a foodie, a bit picky and they hit it out of the park every time. The cherry on top is the atmosphere, it is family owned and operated they make you welcomed the minute you walk in. Highly highly recommend!

We visited this location for drinks and snacks. Food was better than expected. I specially loved the hummus. Crab cakes were also good, a nice touch with papaya. They also have a good beer selection. It was pretty empty for a Friday hh time, but we actually enjoyed that because we were able talk.

This is a family-owned restaurant serving good beer and good food. It has been years since I have had such excellent service. You can tell that this family truly cares about the food they serve and their guest's experience. I had the chicken wellington. So very unique and incredibly good. The atmosphere was inviting. Please support this local restaurant. I won't be disappointed.

Amazing food! The prime rib was so good! And was the size of the plate! My girlfriend is vegetarian and the waitress Ryan went out of her way to make sure she was happy with her dish. She brought us out three different plates and was very accommodating. This family owned business is a must the dad is the head cook the daughter and mom are amazing servers and hosts. You won't be disappointed !! With fair pricing and portions to top it all off!

We visited for the first time this Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the location. We walked in and it is warm, inviting, and comfortable. Both my husband and I appreciated that there was music and a hum of conversation but it was not loud like many other places to eat. The service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. We appreciated the leisurely pace of dinner. The chef even visited our table at the end of the meal. We will return here. A hidden gem!

The moment I walked in, I had a good feeling about this place.

The welcoming atmosphere anddelicious smells were just a preamble for what I will say was in the top 2 burgers I have ever had in my life!

A unique take on modifying the standard American burger goes a long way.

The other items on their menu also looks absolutely scrumptious.

I'll be back and I'll be bringing my friends with me.

Oh my! You don’t want to miss a meal at this place! Such good food, service, and atmosphere! I’m a food snob and the chef does not disappoint! My favorite place for every occasion!

Very nice place for lunch. Good bar and selection of beer taps. The owner is very nice and friendly. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are very good. They had sports on the TV and the music was at a good level. Would recommend this place for a good meal and a beer.

The location is a bit out there but totally worth it!

I think a few things could be improved.
Melted butter on the side for roasted veggies. A bit of salt in the butter that comes with the bread. Sour cream and butter to go with potatoes. Steak was pretty dry so I would consider getting meat from a better supplier. Also steak needs a lot more salt and seasoning before it’s cooked. I wouldn’t cook blue cheese onto the steak but either leave it on their raw or turn it into a blue cheese cream sauce. Salt and lemon or more seasoning in the Caesar dressing. The pasta with tomato cream sauce also needs more salt / or seasoning. Mousse dessert was excellent and mushroom appetizer was perfectly seasoned. We’ll be back!

You won't find better service and Woodinville. I've had visits here 2 months apart and server remembered my order. Tons of attention to detail on service and then you get to try the food and you are blown away by the quality and large portions! Best Cubano, Incredible surf and turf, burgers are amazing and super filling. The amount of taps is great and they do cocktails as well. Try this local gem, you won't want to go elsewhere!

I highly recommend The 522. The place is clean and chill and the food is beyond great. But more so my favorite part is their top tier service customer hospitality. I can honestly say it was a pleasure having meet the owners. 10/10!

Love their french soup and cheese. Best seafood fettuccine ive had. Reuben was great and huge. Cajun shrimp appetizer is amazing. We come here at least once or twice every month

The restaurant was almost empty when I visited the restaurant at 4PM on weekday. It was a perfect timing for me to be able to take several pictures inside the restaurant so I can share with my googlers.

Route 522 taproom opened a couple months ago. As it's very new, they tried a cool technology - providing a tablet to allow customers to browse and order a drink menu and to sign up a founder's club membership and so on.

I ordered a half size of Nachos. It was only $6 but the portion and the quality of nachos was outstanding. I have no doubt that it was the best nachos I've ever had in my entire life. They applied two different sauces along with good enough melted cheese and toppings. It was a perfect harmony overall.

Although I didn't order a beer because of the time I visited the restaurant (too early to drink), I will definitely come back soon to get another nachos with their beers.

I spent over 2 hours here, enjoying every moment. It was so relaxing. The service was superb. The food was incredible. I'm looking forward to returning and enjoying trying some of the other menu items.

This is our absolute favorite restaurant around! It is family owned and run. The chef is one of the owners and his wife is the hostess. Their daughter is a server when she’s not in college. Both the chef and his wife often come around to chat when they have time. They are both super friendly. But the best part is the food! It is SO yummy! We have had quite a few of his dishes and NEVER been disappointed! My favorite is the pasta carbonara! It is so creamy and flavorful and the portions are huge. I always have leftovers to heat up for lunch the next day. And unlike any pasta dishes I make or get elsewhere, when reheated, it is just as delicious and never separates becoming greasy. I wish I knew how he did it. Bread usually comes with the meals and is very delicious too! It’s some kind of grain bread with bits of something on top that are very tasty. We also love to be able to glance up at the big tvs to get updates on football games or whatever is playing that night. If you haven’t eaten here, you are definitely missing out!!

This place deserves all the stars. You might think you’ve stumbled into your average sports bar from the outside but you would be wrong. Service is top notch, feels like you’re with family. Husband and wife duo - didn’t catch her name but the wife knew exactly what I wanted to drink with the simplest description of my tastes. The husband “chef” came out to greet us and talked to us like we were regulars. Fettuccine carbonara was exquisite - so much pancetta, not just noodles. You must stop in if you’re driving through the area or are looking for a new fave spot. Can’t say enough good things! 🫶🏼

I rarely write reviews but strongly felt this place deserved one after our visit tonight. The outside of 522 Taproom makes you think it's a typical brewpub... it's anything but. The menu, food, and service is that of a 5 star, high-quality restaurant. However, the environment is casual enough to make you feel perfectly at home and relaxed. The mix of casual tap room and fine dining experience is the magic of 522 Taproom. Their outdoor patio gets excellent evening sun and is pet friendly. Large servings and delicious drinks. Thank you for making our Wednesday night incredible, 522!! We will be back.
