Longo's Pizza

We stopped by on our way home, and got cheese, pepperoni, and gluten free pizzas. The man behind the counter assured my husband it would be the best gluten free pizza he had ever eaten and we would have to agree- delish!

We also got chips and drinks. The decor was very nice and the restrooms were clean. It looked like there were homemade chocolate chip cookies available.

My party pizza order from a different place was cancelled last minute for my sons birthday . By luck ordered from here last minute ,Longos was able to get multiple party pizzas done in less time than they estimated and during a busy day (Sunday football) . Even called to let me know pizza was about to come out of oven ,don’t know of any other place that would do that so I could have pizza in time for party . Will be buying from here from now on . Recommend to all .pizza was great!

Very delicious and reasonably priced food. Was in town for a wedding and ordered from this place to my hotel room and everything was exceptional quality from the teriyaki chicken fingers to their calzones. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area.

The only downfall about this establishment is the parking lot. There are some holes in the ground when trying to park and not alot of parking. Everything else is awesome. We will continue to choose Longos for our takeout dinner meals.

100% customer service makes great effort on gluten free never had an issue. CONSISTENTLY great food always satisfied!!!

We just moved into town and had not had any good luck with local restaurants. We tried Longos and let me say this. I never ever leave reviews, but today I have to. We ordered 2 different sizes of cheese pizza’s one was so large it fed my family. We also ordered the meat pizza and never in my life have I have so so so and so many toppings. They packed on the toppings. The crust was perfect and the pizza was by far the best pizza we have ever eaten. We have definitely found our pizza place. P.S I also ordered a chef salad and that was also huge and loaded.

I always have great food from Longos. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome.
The menu is pretty vast when you consider the location is mostly for take-out (but there certainly is inside seating as well).
The only thing I do not give 5 stars to is the atmosphere (just because I wish there were some sort of sound dampening inside) it sounds like a bustling New York city deli, and is tough to hear when dining in.
I hate to recommend something so basic, but any of the grinders are amazing here... a sandwich is a sandwich? I don't know, at Longos, these are my favorites!

This place has great wraps and sandwiches very impressed, this area of Eastern CT the food choices are pathetic so anything good is a blessing.

This is to me the best place around! Their pizza always have a good amount of toppings and they cook it the way you ask every time I have been there. I like my pizzas well done and I can't thank them enough for doing what I ask :-). Don't change anything!!

It might be a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The food is excellent. When I say excellent I mean excellent. If you want you could go to Giant Pizza or Franco's and get one piece of meat on your whole entire grinder yeah you might pay a buck less. I'll pay a couple bucks more any day. I love the pizza from here so much! Always lots cheese on the extra cheese. The family that owes the places is so kind and goes above and beyond.
They have definitely stolen my weekly from their neighbors.

Second time getting take out and have not been disappointed. A simple cheese pizza that’s done right is the best. First time I ordered extra cheese, but let me tell you, it’s not needed their regular cheese has plenty of cheese on the pizza and tastes so good! Has a nice bubbling brown over the pizza. I recommend.

So happy they delivered to us! First time ordering from Longos and so happy we did. Really nice people and awesome pizza. We had a cheese for the kids and a veggie for adults. My 3 yr old who lives off of chocolate milk and granola bars had 2 pieces. He never eats so that alone is a testament to quality. The veggie was so good. Fried eggplant and thin sliced peppers were a nice touch. It arrived quickly. Under an hour. Not soggy or greasy at all. Light fluffy crust!

I always say moving to Griswold we sacrificed good food(from New London) but think we finally found our pizza place!

Stopped in from RI while on our way to adopt a pup in CT. It was the best pizza and service we've ever received. Jimmy and the nice young lady at the register were so nice and accommodating, even helping us with directions. It was certainly worth the drive! Jimmy, the pup adoption was legit! Six pounds of chihuahua love! It was a pleasure meeting you...thank you so much!

Longo's is my new favorite Friday night stop. The family that owns and operates is always so fantastic and welcoming, every single item on the menu is delicious, the website is smooth as butter. One week they sold homemade brownies and oh my God, best brownies ever. Try the chicken finger dinner with some blue cheese, thank me later. 10/10, customer for life.

UPDATE: Their tuna grinder is quite literally the greatest grinder I have ever eaten. I cannot stop. It has taken over all cravings. Send help.

I'm very happy that we finally tried out this place. Salads and grinders are very fresh. Falafel and house dressings are homemade and very tasty. This is our new goto pizza place!
