River Road's Cafe

First time here this evening. I came with my daughter. I had the philly cheesesteak on toast with cheese tots. It was so delicious and such a unique take to a Philly cheesesteak sandwich.

Great little roadside cafe! The patty melt was AWESOME! It’s only $4.50. My lunch date got a Philly cheesesteak, it was on Texas toast which was weird but after one bite it didn’t matter what it was on, the flavor was all there. I would have eaten it off the table. It was superb. It’s a shame y’all don’t have beer, but I understand. We’ll be back!

Went there for lunch with three friends. Food was great. The service excellent. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and was very impressed by their respect of having a reserved table for a lost member of our military.

Breakfast was amazing. Great service. Surrounded by tons of friendly people. Coffee was a fantastic addition to that morning's sunrise. Good food, good people, good atmosphere. If you're looking for a off-the-beaten-path place with home cooked meals and southern hospitality, stop by here. Or come hang out with the old folks and drink coffee, tell fishing stories, and talk about the weather.

I am rating their catering and service. Used them twice - once for a post funeral lunch where they had little notice. Fed approximately 40 guests with a very southern meal that was outstanding. Packed everything in coolers to retain heat and freshness. Then we fed a dozen folks at my wife's birthday party - meat loaf, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green beans, macaroni and cheese and corn bread - everything was excellent. Thank you RRC!

We had the steak and shrimp and it was delicious. The servers were very friendly and prompt. It's a cute little rustic cafe that serves breakfast and lunch Mon-Fri and serves Dinner on Friday night. If your out that way stop and give it a try!

This place has great breakfast and dinners. Only down side is they are only ooen from 4-9 on friday nights.. Love the staff they are friendly

a really nice place to eat.... Breakfast and supper are out of this world. Especially Friday nights....come early as they have the best steak in this part of the country....

EXCELLENT food and service! The restaurant is kept clean and so are the bathrooms. I will go back many times!
