gotta love Mike's! you can't give directions between gardendale and fultondale without "the red gas station." plus they have what the other quick marts didn't. PLUS everything they have.

I have been doing business at Mike's over 36 years,it is the friendliest and safest spot in Gardendale to get gas,beer and other items.
The original owner is greatly missed, he always had a friendly smile and kn ew most of the regular customers by name. The current staff are great too,great place for early morning coffee and catching up on local gossip.

I’m just letting you know about the integrity of the owners and staff here. Many months ago I overpaid gas by $11 and drove off. Today, the owner gives me the $11 back. WOW! ❣❣❣And they have THE BEST and the cleanest cappuccino machine. ♥

I have been a customer at Mike’s for about 4-5 years now, starting when I lived in the area. Even now that I no longer live nearby, I will go out of my way to buy beer there. They have the best selection in the area, and nice employees as well.

Owner/proprietor has no personality, just rude. I have been in the store a couple of times making a purchase and have tried to make small talk; not worrh the effort. Also, items that are $1.09 everywhere else were $1.31 there. Told him I would not be back in his store
