Cedar House Cafeteria

This is probably my second or third time to come to the Cedar house each and every time the food has been amazing. It is an old-school cafeteria serving meat and vegetables. There were multiple choices each day for the entrée. I chose the hamburger steak. I also chose the term greens, black-eyed peas, and fried green tomatoes. Everything was amazing and tasted delicious. The staff continue to check on us and cater to our needs as we sat eating offering numerous times to refill our glasses. It’s a very comfortable atmosphere where you can come for a quick meal or stay and visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a delicious meal and a friendly atmosphere.

The best meet and three in Bhm area. The food is very good, is like farm to table, preserving roots and flavor. The owners are friendly, this is family business. Try the lemon pie, is delicious!

Loved it! The decor is appropriate for a restaurant in a mostly industrial area, but the food was great and plentiful. A family-run place with great southern home style cooking, can't beat it! Lots of parking.

Good ol' Country Cookin'. As the name says, it's a cafeteria. I love going thru the line, getting a tray, and seeing all the different foods to choose from.

How have I never been to this place? The pork chop is great! The sides are good. highly recommend the pork chop and cornbread. This isn't a normal foodservice cornbread. It taste like homw

Oh my goodness!! This place is great!! I had smoked sausage and sour kraut, fried green tomatoes, new potatoes, jalapeno cornbread and a slice of coconut cream pie for desert with sweet tea to drink. Everything was fantastic including the service. Lots of food for a reasonable price. I live an hour away but I liked it so well that I would drive the hour to eat there.

There is great service here and it shows because they've been there for so long! I love their pecan pie..It's just right to me. We got like 10 of them for Thanksgiving and sent them all around! They also have different kinds to pick from. The food is served cafeteria style so if you have time to sit down and just feel like you're a kid again, I highly recommend!

Omg, I've been passing by this hidden treasure for almost 8 months until today. I'm from Georgia and I could've sworn that I had walked into a neighbor's home once I entered this Restaurant. I was pleasantly greeted with pure Southern Hospitality and the food was good also. I can't lie but my hashbrowns could've been a lot softer, they were cooked hard but overall everything else was Fantastic! I'll be back for a second try at their Hashbrowns.

I recently visited this Meat and 3 restaurant and I have to say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of meats and sides to choose from. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our dining experience was enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious, hearty meal in a casual setting.

It's a country style meat and 3. If you want a low key, no hassle meal - go here. The food tastes like grandma's.

This isn't a review of the present. My grandmother worked here when I was a very young child. I remember going here many times before she got sick and was no longer able to work here. Hazel White was her name. I remember the food was always so good and the people were the nicest. I haven't been there since at least the very early 80s. My grandmother passed away in 1982 and my parents decided to relocate us to Texas. I'm nearing 50 years old. June 18th to be exact. I may pop in on or around this date just to take it in.

Excellent food and service!

My husband and I ate here this past Monday. We had lasagna, green beans, fried green tomatoes, cabbage, roll, and piece of pie. It was super yummy. You get plenty of food for the price. I liked the lasagna but I am not a big sausage person and this had sausage (I know it is supposed to so no biggie) but It was really good. I will be back. I will also recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a place to eat.

Awesome food. Was in town to visit friends and I was taken to the Ceader House Cafeteria and if I lived there I would eat there at least 3 times a week. They have different food each day Monday thru Friday and closed on the weekend.
