Very satisfied. I brought in an inexpensive electric guitar last week to get a set up, and their tech did a wonderful job getting it adjusted.

I've had only had a few guitars set up, but this one was perfect. Intonation great, stays in tune !

Don’t be fooled by the website, these guys have plenty of Gibson guitars. Plus, the staff is more than happy to help you out, unlike some of the bigger chain stores. Waylon went and found me a J-45 out of the back when I didn’t like the ones on the rack, then gave me a killer deal on it. It’s actually worth getting on HWY 280 for. They also do free setups on new guitars.

I deleted my previous review to make a current one just because this store and mainly its staff are just that good! I hate going on 280 but trust me you wont regret this place! I came back after about a year of playing guitar and talked with a guy about how I just seem to be stalling on my picking speed and getting stuck between strings. He said "I know your solution, here try out these jazz picks, trust me I use them" and my God he was dead on the nail. Also I needed a gig bag and asked the guy if it would fit a Jackson to which he replied "I don't think it will because of the head stock, I'd hate to sell you something that may not work, bring it by and we could match it up though" this speaks so many words to me that they aren't there to just sell you something, they're actually there to help you make the RIGHT decisions and purchases. Man such a good store and people. These guys clearly actually play and have abudant knowledge on the instruments and accessories they sell. To the owner, hats off to you sir for such a well put together staff and amazing store.

I walked thru the door and felt at home. The sales associates are seasoned musicians, so they know. They had exactly what i needed with a smile. And they were cheaper than the competition. They sell Mesa Boogie. What more can i say.

As always Bailey Bros did not let me down. Looking for a ukulele to play with my great niece's. Excellent help with no pressure to purchase but always close to answer questions. Only place for all your musical needs. Martin, Takamine, Alvarez and Ibanez (not shown). Yes I love Bailey ❤ Bros!!

WOW.. being from out of state and working in Birmingham I enjoy seeing new music stores and Bailey Brothers in one of the best in the country for sure. An amazing assortment of instruments and amps from the highest level to beginner.. no other place like it.. and the staff is fantastic!! friendly and knowledgeable.. unreal.. I purchased a few needs but will be back for sure.. cant say enough good things about this place.. !!! (great used gear as well!!)

From beginner to professional instruments of the highest quality, they have perhaps the most thoughtful selection in Birmingham. Also for many years they are who I have chosen to service my guitars.

I had a great experience buying a semi-higher-end acoustic guitar. Joseph, Waylon, and Erskine were fantastic sales reps. Zero pressure and very helpful with lots of great knowledge. Their showroom is the best in Alabama. This will be my #1 stop for anything guitar related.

BBM did some repair work on my Taylor 912c. Not only did they do a great job on the work itself, but they cleaned the guitar and figured out what strings I like (in the case) and put brand new strings on it. I feel like I've got a brand new guitar. Great store too...my kids didn't want to leave! Thanks y'all!

A very pleasant experience !

I bought a brand new 50's Les Paul Goldtop from Guitar Center and it came with a free set up so I went ahead and replaced the nut. The guitar wouldn't stay in tune. I took it to a different guitar store around my town and they worked on the nut but still wouldn't stay in tune. I changed to locking tuners and put a fender string tree on the d and g string to straighten the angle but still nothing. I did some research and came to the conclusion my nut was too high. I took it to Joseph at Bailey Brothers and he filed and shaped the nut and now my tuning problems are a thing of the past! This was my first Gibson and I was honestly ready to give up on them because of tuning problems. Now my Goldtop is solid as a rock! Thx again Joseph and Bailey Brothers team!

I never write reviews, but I was really impressed with the quality of service at Bailey Brothers. Go and see Waylon. He knows and loves guitars and treats his customers fairly and without an ounce of impatience. As a younger buyer, it was refreshing to enter a store and purchase an expensive instrument without dealing with the annoying behaviors of high-pressure, condescending salesmen. Even though I live in another town, I will be back to Bailey Brothers.

This place is one of the BEST music stores I’ve ever been to. I visited from out of town and was just looking around, but the acoustic guitar guy was amazing and helped me pick out my dream guitar…knowing I wasn’t able to buy that same day. He was so kind and knowledgeable, along with everyone else we came into contact with. I cannot recommend this store enough ❤

I had an absolutely great experience in this huge, well-stocked store. Salesperson, Erskine, was awesome. No pressure, very helpful, patiently letting me try out one guitar after another to make sure I was happy with the amp.

I could have bought this on-line and had it shipped for free and saved $85 in taxes - but I felt the experience was worth paying a little more, and worth supporting a local (non-chain) business.

There are some negative reviews here. I’m sure with doing a lot of sales and service, someone won’t be happy. But I did not experience anything but great gear, and a helpful no-pressure salesman.
