We did a discovery flight for my son for his birthday and it was an amazing experience for all of us! Hannah was a fantastic pilot and everybody we met was so nice. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back soon!

Hands down the best flight school and aircraft caretaking organization. These guys prioritize safety and quality, and it TRULY shows.

They have the same challenges like other schools such as high demand and dynamic schedules, but they handle it with professionalism which is truly rare. Greg Floyd was exceptional in taking care of my needs, and I’ll DEFINITELY be back again. Steven Pickett was extremely approachable.

Gave my son a Discovery Flight for his 16th birthday and it was the best! BHam Flight center was so easy to work with and provided great information for his potential career in aviation. He had a fantastic time flying with his instructor Bailey and can’t wait to go up again!

Scheduled a flight with Dalton and he is hands-down one of the most down-to-earth instructors I’ve met. I can’t say that about most. He was super easy to work with and very friendly. He’s also super knowledgeable. He made my experience at BFC really amazing.

Actually set this up as a birthday gift for my 12-year old daughter, she loved it! Our instructor Bailey did a terrific job explaining the entire process throughout the trip (and made a really good tour guide as well as we flew all over parts of Jefferson and Shelby County!)…my daughter even got to fly the plane which she thought was the coolest thing. Fantastic experience!

I’m a 17 year old student pilot and I’ve done all of my training at the Birmingham flight center. This flight school is amazing. They’ve taken me all the way from zero flight hours to completing my solo within the span of about 3 months. I would absolutely recommend this flight school to anyone who’s interested in becoming a pilot. They have a great selection of staff and an amazing fleet of aircraft. Thanks to my instructor KV for being such an inspiration to me and pushing me to my absolute best. Can’t wait to keep working with Birmingham flight center in my training to become a private pilot.

Birmingham Flight Center is one of the most professional and quality flight schools you could receive training at. When you fly here, not only do you receive the best instruction, you’re encouraged and taken care of along the way. They have a variety of airplanes, whatever your training goals, whichever type of plane you wish to train in, there is a good chance they have it. My flight instructor Seth has been a joy to work with and I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Can’t say enough great things about the team at Birmingham flight center. They are very professional and run their business like a finely tuned machine. The instructors are very friendly and enthusiastic about teaching and sharing their passion for flight.

Seth, not only incredibly intelligent about aviation, aircraft manufacturing and communications. He can teach you about life, women, stock trading, and how to give off a smolder that would make Dwayne Johnson jealous. Great place, great people and can get you flying ASAP.

Fantastic place to learn aviation no matter your skill level. From just starting your private, to getting your CFI, BFC has dedicated flight instructors to help any level of student. It’s easy to schedule lessons, and a comfort knowing you have the ability to take control of your flight training.

The instructors here are phenomenal! Dalton Derr was as patient as a saint and broke down new concepts beautifully. Big thanks to him and the other instructors who helped my get my private license! I couldn’t have done it without you!

I reached out to BFC about obtaining my high performance and complex endorsements, since my local school didn’t have the aircraft for the endorsement. After talking with them, scheduling was a breeze. Jacob was my instructor and did a great job instructing me. I left there feeling to have gained a lot of knowledge. Jacob taught well and made it fun.

These folks are freaking awesome! They have plenty of resources for student pilots.
