Comfort Inn and Suites - Crossplex Village

The rooms are very nice. Clean and spacious with comfy beds. The staff was always super helpful including when I managed to lock myself out of my room. We were traveling for a funeral and their warmth and kindness was refreshing. The breakfast area has a good selection, but can get crowded if there is a group staying there.

For the area and price, this was one of the best Hotels i have ever stayed at. The room was well cleaned and up to date. They have a meeting room if your in need of a meeting. They have an amazing gym. The only problem i have was i didn’t see the pool. I didn’t ask or look too so…but me and my wife were well pleased with this Hotel!

The positive reviews about the crew and the way the hotel is run are 100% accurate.

When I went inside, I noticed that the lobby and dining area were fully decorated for Christmas. My anticipation of possible disappointment went away... in fact, I found out there was supposed to be a staff gathering for Christmas.

As I waited near the counter for the receptionist to take care of her guests, I couldn't help overhearing her communication with the four ladies she was helping. Her professionalism and helpful demeanor were a pleasure to witness. When it was my turn, I was treated no different. I can't remember her name, but both her and her coworker were absolutely great.

I made sure to observe everything from the parking area to the front entrance... The lobby, the hallways, the exercise room, the vending room, and my room were spotless.

They give you a handy sheet with pertinent information on it, and if you happen to ask... someone handmade a channel guide (the channel info appears to be slightly incorrect), and it helps tremendously since the guide on TV lacks information.

It appears the manager must be pretty good because the people I saw working there had cheerful personalities. You don't have that when management is lacking.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Comfort Inn for doing a great job. I was greeted by Ms. Patricia On 10/15/23 who was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and so fun to talk to. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was hot and neatly displayed. All staff I engaged with on the morning of 10/16/23 were super professional and friendly. I'm just a guy driving cross country looking for a place to stay. I don't expect much. I really appreciate it when I come across an establishment like this that provides exceptional service. It is operated with great pride and work ethic. I am not a professional reviewer. I'm just a thankful customer who wants to recognize an exceptionally run hotel.

Don’t let the bad reviews scare you like it happened to me. We are on our way back home to Texas and we needed a please to sleep because it was already late, so I saw this hotel and made the reservation. After I had made the reservation I started to read the reviews and saw some bad reviews that scared me a little. But when we got there the front desk lady was very nice and quick to give me my room keys and gave me a paper with the breakfast hours and the food close by. They even had a security guarding the place. Very clean and it’s 4 minutes from the freeway. Hot Breakfast in the morning and again everyone was so friendly. Definitely recommend!!!

Not only was overwhelmed by Yvonne and her friendly she was, this is probably the nicest hotel I’ve seen across my road trip from Oklahoma to Tampa, and it was reasonably priced. And they accepted cash without making you feel like there’s something wrong with it. I couldn’t be happier with how great the service and the cleanliness was. I can’t wait to test the bed for a good night sleep

We stay in hotels quite a bit and I just had to come brag on this one! Not only is it priced amazing (around $100 for a king size room with full size couch) it was CLEAN and COMFY! The room was clean, the halls were clean, the elevator was clean, everything was clean and smelled good. That’s so rare to find in hotels these days. Also the mattress, sheets, and pillows were all so comfy and cozy! On top of that Ms. Patricia at the front desk was so so so sweet and kind. I will definitely be back if ever in the area again.

Liked · The hotel was much better than expected for the price. The staff was surprisingly very nice and welcoming. The breakfast had plenty of options, the bed was super cozy!
Disliked · I was in town visiting a museum downtown and this hotel came up as a close location. It’s not in a desirable location and there are homeless people in the area. The hotel property itself, however, is the only nice property in that vicinity. (Right across from the crossplex)

The hotel was very clean and well kept. My room was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I usually don't review hotels because with my job I am in a different one every other week and I just forget but I wanna give kudos to this place. Outside of the area not being that great, the hotel is phenomenal. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the halls are clean and smell nice, lobby and breakfast room is clean and nice. The staff make this hotel from the front desk to the breakfast staff, to housekeeping, they really make you feel welcome. All were so kind, they really show that southern hospitality here. I would definitely recommend!

Great hotel. Great staff. Never had an issue. Stay here every month or evey 3 months depending on how often my transplant team at Tbe Kirklin Clinic wants to see me. This is my home away from home.

It was nice and quiet. Room was a good size of what I was looking for. Enjoyed the stay.

Very clean and maintained. Was very impressed. Value was higher than cost. Plenty of room to park. I had a Penske moving van box with a car trailer. And had no problem. Room and premises were kept up and clean.

About a 15 minutes drive to downtown Birmingham. The staff is very friendly and professional, my check-in process was smooth and the room clean and cool. Complementary breakfast in the morning as well as a fitness and laundry room. I'm very happy with my choice and the hotel is recommended.

Front desk and supervisors have been welcoming and helpful anytime and everytime. Location is by several food venues as well as good shopping rite across the street! The event center was well taken care all through the parking and public areas. Security and local police were friendly helpful and diligent about keeping eyes on vehicles and around the facility during any hours. We were here working about ten miles from this location. I will definitely be checking back into this hotel... A very enjoyable experience, a must for anyone wanting to be close to downtown without the hectic downtown traffic and noise. 5 star rating... Would even go to a higher rating if there was one!

Honestly this hotel is not a bad price for all the amenities provided. Best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time! Huge variety including mini waffles, big waffles, cereal, yogurt, muffins, bagels, sausage, eggs, English muffins, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, basically all the breakfast food groups lol the room was nice and clean. I loved the large stand up showers. The bed was nice and comfortable. Thumbs up from my crew 👍🏼
