Have been going here for almost 2 years. Dr. Slocum is a fantastic provider. Very thorough and really listens to your concerns. Would recommend him and this office.

Literally the worst doctors office I have ever been to. No one knows what they’re doing, there’s absolutely no communication between the staff, and they hold your medication to make sure you show up for your appointment. I have a voicemail saying my appointment 9/15/2023, yet the office says it’s 9/14/2023. This place if absolutely the worst doctors office!

My doctor here is good. The rest is garbage. A nurse asked me private medical questions with the exam room door open. I can never get through to them on the phone - they have some bizarre answering service that's outside their office. If you leave a message, maybe you'll hear back and maybe you won't. And now I'm being billed a DOUBLE COPAY for every visit, one for seeing a doctor and the other for the privilege of using their facilities -- the insurance company says this is allowed but it feels like a total scam... see the doctor once and get charged double.

If you have ANY choice whatsoever, do yourself a favor and avoid this office. I had an appointment one month ago to address severe back pain. They ordered x-rays but instead of calling me, I had to call them to get the results. After reviewing the x-rays, they called in a prescription. Since that time, the pain has continued to get worse. I have called them five times and and sent three messages on the patient portal, yet they will not call me back. My prescription (a muscle relaxant that isn't really addressing the pain) runs out tomorrow. I can't even get a return call. I am stuck dealing with them until I can get to the root of this issue because it would take weeks to switch to another PCP.
That said, as soon as I am able to switch providers I will be doing so. Regrettably, Google does not allow for a zero star rating.

After my experience I had to read the reviews and I was shocked that I am not alone. Don't ever ever call them on the weekends. even if they tell you too. After coming home from the emergency room.. THEY called me to make an appointment and told me if I have any medical problems related to my issue during the weekend I could call to talk to someone . Instead I got a very rude lady.. who canceled my appointment.. instead of an apology.. they passed the buck and made excuses and blamed others.. and was told I would hear back from an office manager.. I'm definitely not going to waste my time with this office anymore..

I had been a patient at this office for 14 years. had to leave due to my employer changing insurance. When my employer changed to aetna, both the aetna and online it stated they were taking new patients, but when I went into the office the said they were not taking new patients. There was something odd with the whole interaction, leaving a feeling that they just did not care. After reading the other reviews, I would have to discourage anyone from going there.

All the bad reviews are correct. Cannot get through on the phone most of the time. Horrible wait times. I mean if they have to put up a sign that says if your waiting longer than 15 minutes come see us at the window... shouldn't they know who is waiting? Super bad service all the way around. When the nurse asks you what shot your kid is there for.... um shouldn't you know? Hilary is about as useful as utters on a bull. This place really should be shut down by the state. Too bad I had to even give it one star

I’ve been going since I was sixteen, and never have I ever had such bad service. The doctor I had since I was a baby retired, and this was the closest option at the time. Every time I go, the nurses help more and offer more solutions than my doctor, doctor Hillary. So, I told her last time I visited I would like to up the dosage of my current prescription, as I wasn’t sure if it was really working at the time. But due to the Side effects I was experiencing at the time, we decided to wait. Now, here I am, going through withdrawals because my prescription has been not refilled, and my pharmacy where I pick up my prescription says that it’s not on file anymore. Not to mention y’all made me pee in a cup, told me you would let me know, and not once have I gotten a call about it, like I was promised. I’m switching doctors immediately. Good luck to the lovely nurses that are honestly the sweetest. They deserve a raise.

Having been a patient here for nearly 2 decades it has saddened me to watch as the practice has been taken over by the lawyers and insurance companies over the course of the last couple years or so.
I was recently informed that my physician is leaving at years end, that I should find another doctor elsewhere like many others are and that they will no longer be authorizing any refills for any controlled substances per CMMC policy (the Mother Ship has spoken!).
Being a customer there feels like being on a treadmill into an insurance harvesting machine.
I am moving on which is unfortunate as it is convenient for me there and the staff have always been great.
My good ole family doctors office has been swallowed by the corporate beast.

Used to be a great doctors office not any more. The doctors are only there to make as much money as they can. Two patients that went there over 20 years were dismissed for missing one appointment for one person and changing their pharmacy but forgetting to notify the doctors for the other. All because the new doctor is to money hungry and has been letting patients go because he has to many.

The staff is friendly but there is zero follow through. Every follow up test, referral, prescription, etc. requires at least one call from me to remind them and sometimes half a dozen. They appear unorganized, incompetent, and have lost touch with patients' needs.

Been a patient for twenty years and all was good. My regular doctor retired and his replacement was great but has moved. Since that time its like going to see robots.

Will not accept a child due to only having out of state insurance!!

They're a joke... You can get all the prescriptions you want, just don't plan on getting referrals to address the real problems
