Pepe's Mexican Restaurant

I have always loved Pepe's and I had the pleasure of trying this location this weekend, that made my love grow fonder. The staff was warm and inviting. Our server was amazing, friendly and offered suggestions. We had the coronaritas frozen....did not know that was a thing but they were great. Then my server bought out a birthday dessert and sang happy birthday. The staff really made you feel like they wanted your business. I will definitely be back, loved everything about this location.

Juan made this dinner experience fantastic! Food is always wonderful, and the attitude made it so much better!! Always a favorite spot of mine when visiting Chicago 😄

Good food and great service

Food comes fast and the waitress is really sweet! I got the chicken flautas and they were really good!

Stopped in and had the Fiesta combo. Salsa with the chips was very good. The combo was a good quantity that filled the entire plate. Decently priced and the waitress checked on me several times to see if I needed anything.

Great service and food. Juan was fantastic.

Love this place. I will never get bored of it. Best food and best long Islands!

Excelent service and the food, DELICIUS.
Is our first time eating there, but we are so proud to try they food and is a 100% enjoyable.
My wife eat a Huachinango al mojo de ajo(in garlic& butter sauce) and I eat the TAMPIQUEÑA, the Meat super tender and DELICIUS 100% recomended.

Only the margaritas were good. We ordered appetizer waitress didn't ask what kind of meat we wanted, gave us beef we wanted chicken, she was like oh well it's usually beef, we don't like their beef so we got stuck with the beef, she didn't change it. So beef tacos in the garbage. Won't be going to this pepe on Archer. We'll go back to the pepe on 87th Cicero better waitress.

I always enjoy that Pepe's. Good food. Great drinks and the people that work there are kind and polite. Never any problems with them. I have seen other people come in and disrespect the workers. That is uncalled for. They are good hard working people that go out of their way to please the customer.

Walked up my block and picked up some tacos on wednesday. They have a special on Wednesdays on their tacos...a great deal on a traditional favorite. They also have great enchiladas suizas....melted cheese and enchilada sauce make it taste super yummy!! A neighborhood favorite for years that is convenient and fast.

We go there quite often. Today was 50% off entire bill for Super Bowl. That was very nice of them. Food is absolutely always great. 👍 they get 10 STARS from me.

It was amazing!! Food was fresh, hot and service was incredible. I went by myself for lunch about 1pm and it was the perfect time to eat.

We eat here at least once a week. The servers are wonderful and the food is always so good. Always fresh !! They will put the games on the big screen and drink specials are great. The Carne Asada is so tender with a nice marinade.

Oh embarrassing, came here on a Monday because Tequilas was closed 😳 but did not disappoint. My friend had come from north side especially to go to Tequilas so now I remembered Pepes in same neighborhood. I had the shishkabob (mariachis) steak tender, veggies good, only needed bacon. My friend had carne asada with enchiladas, he raved about this dish. He said we have to go back real soon. Waitress sweet. Ask for hot chile. Very hot!

Had a carryout order. Food was great, service was quick. Everything was just perfect!!!

Outstanding service and generous portions of their home cooked style Mexican food. Had the Azteca combination. Plating looked like a work of art. Chorizo taco, chicken flauta and a beef tostada. Outstanding, thank you!

best service i’ve ever had! i feel bad as the staff at this location have always treated my family and i nicely and i have been present in a recent situation where rude entitled customers came in and basically dehumanized the employees. so incredibly sad to see as they were nothing short of amazing. thank you for always taking care of us!

Excellent customer service. Fresh delicious Pina Colada. Tacos are pretty tasty. Prices are affordable and specials are a steal! Definitely will be going back to dine in or carry out.
