Lovely lovely nature preserve. Cool wooden footbridge. Trails rough and muddy in spots but well marked.

Beautiful easy hike. 2 parking areas with limited spaces. Kid and Dog friendly. Quiet. Not handicap accessible. There are some roots and rocks...slight inclines. Our 3 year old granddaughter loved it.....just a couple places where hand holding was needed.

Nice hike with water views along the "lake trail". There are a lot of roots and rocks so pay attention to where you step. There are also some up and down hills. This is rated as "easy" but I judge it to qualify as moderate. Watch children carefully as some parts of the trail are quite close to drops to the water. Be sure to have bug spray.

My ABSOLUTELY favorite trail in the Boothbay Regional Land Trust system! It's amazingly gorgeous. Sweeping water views combined with wide woodsy interior trails. Ovens mouth east is a shorter and easier hike. Ovens mouth west has more inclines and is quite a bit longer. Combine them both for a great workout and nature's healing energy.

great moderate trails with a bit of ups and downs along each path. i did both loops and it took 2 hours with some stopping. my only comment for those planning is that the map distance is inaccurate. it says one loop is 1.7 miles and the other is 1.1. in total thatd be 2.8, certainly no longer than 3 with the bridge. however, i tracked my activity with strava and i logged the whole trail at 4.4 miles!

Gorgeous walk for those that are looking for scenes and are maybe hill-averse. A few loop combinations, all incredibly relaxing. Lovely mix of conifers and deciduous trees, and thoughtfully placed seating arrangements for people I assume have passed. Good for dogs and kids, make sure to see the bridge while you're here!

We really enjoyed our hike. We were expecting lots of bugs but the trails were well marked and mostly insect-free. Highly recommended for 2-miler hikers - moderate to challenging (mostly because of tree roots and rocks, but not treacherous).

Such a neat place! Great for a short hike, with options to lengthen it. Beautiful scenery. One lot was full so we drove to the other side. Seems to fill up fast!

Took a wonderful walk around Oven's Mouth East. Nice trail, certainly not challenging, the West looked a little more so. Next time I'm bringing my mountain bike!

Great walking/hiking trails. West loop is longer than east loop. They do connect at the bridge if you want to do both.

Gorgeous Maine Seacoast preserve with easy hiking trails. If you're lucky, you'll meet the local dog who will hike with you.

Gorgeous trails and lush pines, maples and oaks. Water access for dogs and a small cave like hole.

There are lobster and black chanterelle mushrooms on the slopes. But please be respectful of the place and cut above the dirt.

Beautiful, easy hike. Make sure you check for ticks after! We found a few on our pup (went in late May)

Always a beautiful place to hike with breathtaking vistas! Ovens Mouth West is a bit more difficult and longer than East.

Nice little 2 mile hike on the white trail. Beautiful views. Uneven terrain, so plan accordingly.
