Lovely walk. The river is unexpected and magical here, and the views just keep coming all along the path. Mushrooms growing everywhere, beautiful breezes, watched the lobstermen at work and the herons and gulls fishing. Like a slice of all things Midcoast.

If you are pressed for time, park here and do the short loop on the east side of Ovens Mouth. Of course do both loops if you’ve got the time!

Experience a little bit of everything, woods, terrain, water, animals. Well marked and several vantage points!

Great trail. Well marked and beautiful scenery. Parking lot only has room for about 8 cars. Enjoyed meeting Phoebe, a red hound dog who lives nearby and roams the park; she’s very friendly.

Busy town Hall parking lot . Park out back for oven's mouth stroll. Quite a nice stroll considering it is behind the town office and recycling center.

Shorter trails follow the water and connects via bridge to the other side of the preserve.

I wish signage to the East Lot was more prominent but what a fun hike and a great place to unwind in some nature.
