Java House (Downtown)

This was a beautiful experience. I was there on December 31st and had a Winter Warmer and the bagel sandwich. Let me tell you, this was one of the best coffee shop experiences ever. The service was phenomenal and food equally as good. I was visiting from KC for the Colts-Raiders game and this was a definite highlight of the trip. Highly recommend! I'd give more stars if I could.

I love the video here. It has such a coffee house vibe. Also, the staff are incredibly sweet and helpful! Honestly, the drinks are good too (take that with a grain of salt as I don't like coffee). The only thing that could be better is the food. They don't have amazing food options, but they are not bad by any means necessary. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a nice coffee spot in downtown (especially on mass Ave) I love getting work done here.

Excellent coffee spot in the heart of downtown Indy!

Recently I've stopped at Java House a couple times, each time ordering a specialty coffee along with breakfast sandwich. The Honey Baby is a great not too sweet option, and the Bonfire Brew is a deliciously sweet seasonal beverage as well. Sandwiches like the bacon & egg on a bagel are served flavorful and piping hot.

Baristas are kindly, professional, and humorous today in particular! In my latest visit, somehow my name on the receipt came up as "Nerd". The server denied any knowledge, stating "I'm not sure how that name came up". Whether or not it was a deliberate joke, laughs were had on both sides of the counter!

Found this gem-of-a-place while looking for a quick latte on a post-call morning home. The baristas were beyond lovely, the service was fast, and the caffeine delicious. They even have a window for walk-up coffee as well!

Java House downtown is one of my favorite coffee shops to visit. Their coffees are always delicious and the staff is so friendly! Their cold brew might be one of my favorites, hands down, but their hot coffee is also amazing. If you’re looking for coffee on Mass Ave this is a wonderful place to check out! Strongly recommend. :)

I am a regular customer, visiting almost daily. It's time to share how amazing this location is and what makes it my go-to coffee/tea shop. What makes JAVAHouse DT a phenomenal place to visit/work is the STAFF. They are ALL SO wonderful. I would like to mention Michael. He is friendly, helpful, and conscientious. He makes my drink (chai with macadamia milk) perfect every time. He greets me and wishes my day well when I pop in and quickly out with an online order. His work ethnic is top notch. He cares about doing things right and always puts the customer first. Ester is lovely, kind, and helpful. She never stops smiling and makes an effort to check on my day and other customers hands down every visit. Faith is helpful, attentive, and friendly. She has a gentle way of making someone feel heard as she listens to her customers with care while preparing their order. Casey is a friendly, hospitable, and bright light in the morning. She has a special way of lifting customer's spirit while serving them. Britteny is doing an outstanding job managing the staff and environment. I LOVE the plant wall!!! I believe "live" plants make this place! Having "live" plants instead of plastic plants makes a big difference. Live plants bring life into this place making it special, inviting, and cozy. The space is always clean and maintained. This is important to me.

I just stopped by on my way home in MI from SW side of Indiana. All baristas were very friendly, and all the draft bars they set up were pretty unique and cool looking. Not only that the drinks were really great. I always find flavored espresso drinks to be too sweet forward but this was just good enough to enjoy the bitterness from the coffee as well. I will definitely return if I’m heading down to this direction!!

I have been to multiple locations and Java House never disappoints. The best coffee I’ve ever had hands down. My boyfriend is a coffee hater and he will drink Java House’s drinks. A must stop any time we pass Indy!

FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!! i was immediately greeted by a nice young man named “head chef” (skyler) he was very nice and patient and recommended me a very tasty drink. michael prepared my drink and it came out super quick and i gobbled it down just as fast!! definitely will be coming back!! java house rules!!

I love this place! Although it is cold brew based and not the traditional espresso, I still buy one practically every day. The employees are all so sweet and wonderful. Definitely recommend this place for a try!

While traveling in Indianapolis, we stopped in here. I like nitro cold brew, but it's truly terrible at some places. This is the BEST I've ever had! Smooth good flavor, excellent head on it... so good. My wife got a coconut chocolate maho and it was awesome as well. Great flavors, not hidden in sugary syrup.

Great little place on north side of downtown. Coffee specialty, great pastry. Cool low vib music . Very friendly coffee specialist.... Enjoyed the entire visit .

Incredible coffee and a great coffee shop vibe. The coffee is smooth and balanced, and the shop is very clean and welcoming. I stopped in twice while I was in town for work - I highly recommend it if you’re downtown!

The vibes are immaculate. Very kind baristas! Beautiful store with an upper room to get work done. I got a chai latte with maple. It was pretty sweet, but delicious.

The barista with the heart glasses was super sweet and funny! Quick service, absolutely charming atmosphere inside, and delicious chai latte! I plan to stop in here more often, definitely making this a cute date spot to chill before/after a morning walk with my partner. :)

Very chill ambience. I saw people having business meetings. Some people are just doing work. Employees up front were nice. The coffee is a bit stronger than I’m used to, but the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was good. I needed two to fill me up, but I was also really hungry. $5 for each sandwich $6 for my drink with extra pumps of caramel. About average when it comes to coffee shop prices

We got hot & cold coffee drinks, dirty chai, and a frappe. It was all delicious and served quickly. It has great vibes and decor. There’s even a walk up window!
