Gray Recycling & Solid Waste Center

A well run facility staffed by friendly, helpful people. I particularly appreciate their volunteer-maintained, nicely organized "swap shop." We have been able to leave many donations and have often taken many items in return, from books to toys for our children. Thank you, Gray, for having this center available to us residents.

Love the staff! Volunteers at the swap shop are so friendly it’s unreal 🤧 definitely a MUST stop if you’re into thrifting!!! Never leave empty handed and a great place to give your items a new home ❤

The people who run this center are kind, helpful and very committed to their work.

You have to recycle before you can dump: and their recycling system is amazing....

My dog once leapt out of the car and they assembled a rescue group and brought him back (no small feat since the dog was dead). Such kind people!

I am not kidding when I say this place is one of the highlights of being a taxpayer in Gray.

They are incredible and awesome service ,I love how you can drop off stuff that other people can use

Randy and the guys over there run a tight ship. Happy to have that place in town.

What can I say - it's a dump. A clean, well maintained dump. Recycling everything under the sun. The Swap Meet room is a nice touch if still there.

Busy solid waste facility.

So we get charged extra for some items, which I get totally. Why do they not offer receipts and why do they at times take the change out of their pocket and do not offer receipts immediately? There should be some accountability. I notice that the employees rush over very quickly when there is money involved.
