Goose Rocks Beach General Store

I love this store! This is such an upgrade from past years! The coffee is top tier and the food is delicious! Tons of variety when it comes to pastries and macarons. The pizza is great and the sandwiches are amazing! They have a lot of beach toys and other beach necessities such as sunscreen, aloe, and umbrellas. I definitely recommend stopping in.

Store got bought by new owners and changed for the good. It’s organized and lots of breakfast and sandwich options.

I live in France so eat true French pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat etc) and French baguettes several times a week.

The baguette sandwiches and croissants we ate from the general store in Goose Rocks were of the same quality and taste as the ones we have in France! What a fantastic place.

The children in our family loved the Hot Dogs too.

The book selection and wine and beer also looked really excellent. We will pick some of both up next time.

The staff were super attentive and kind and served us with a smile.

We will be back.

Visited the Goose Rocks/ Kennebunkport area with my family and was looking for a quick bite. One of the locals recommended the General Store, and I'm so happy they did! Amazing selection of coffee, pastries, pizza, sandwiches, and even crepes! The kids loved it and the staff was very helpful! Will definitely be visiting again!

Great rates on any beach supplies, parking pass's, lobster rolls out of this world, great deli selection, Gift shop, great wine selection, muffins,pizza, anything for grilling needs homes needs ect .great views of the beach, time with family #priceless. come check out this store. You'll be happy you did. 💯%Family oriented. covid friendly meaning they ask you wear mask as the staff wear them also. Everything is done wearing gloves as well.

This store has been a staple of the GRB community ever since I was a kid and is great that it’s been taken over by the successful company Mornings in Paris from the port. While some have left negative reviews on some of the changes undergone by new mgmt, it’s only the first year and are probably just working out the kinks. The addition of great coffee and pastries is awesome but would love to see some of the classics come back that made the store so special to begin with.. such as fresh made to order subs, bfast sandwiches and great pizza slices. Also you gotta bring back the penny candy for the kids. Wishing you guys the best with the new business at GRB and hope you had a great first season!

The first stop when you come by for a walk, or a day at the beach! Get any supplies whether beach toys/ supplies, some delicious fresh muffins or drinks you may be missing. They are always smiling and happy to see you. The gift shop above has some nice things to bring back to your friends and family. They have all the basic necessities one may want

If you are staying nearby getting a quick coffee and a fresh muffin in the morning is great before a walk on the beach. The banana's go quick so go early if you want one.

Great variety for a smaller store. The takeout was very good. A little pricey for me but otherwise would definitely recommend stopping here for a nice lunch.

Super helpful. Muffins are delicious - loved the French Vanilla. Parking passes are cash only, and the ATM machine doesn't always work... best to plan ahead.

The owner is my mother, she is a great person very personable an kind very angelic, an loves her store! the gift shop has lots of great gifts as well as always having fresh food, also she is a Devine cook

This is a wonderful stop to make before you hit the beach! Small but good! Very busy during the season though. Parking can be tough.

Wonderful selection of magazines and video cassettes upstairs for rental! They also have some fun candy and toys on the first level.

They have remerchandiced the store and seems to have more to offer than last year.

Great Food. Great People. Love the Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins. Great place for kids to go find candy. Amazing Pizza too!
