Lyons' Den Restaurant & Tavern

Reservation only, currently. Sat inside with front row seat to lovely view of the water. Was served, as a proper higher end restaurant, flaky rolls with good butter. Shared crock of French Onion soup that was very flavorful. The special lobster & shrimp with crema Rosa sauce and the special scallops over ribeye = delicious. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Absolutely delicious food and incredible service! I was just wrapping up a day of hiking and decided to eat here before heading back home and it was outstanding.

The baked haddock is a MUST!

Although our reservation was not written down, the owner made sure we got a table. Even had a view of the lake. The service was friendly. And the food was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the sampler appetizer. My surf and turf was perfect and my wife's duck was good.

Second time here after clomping around in the snow at Ellacoya. Excellent coffee. The soup (with a toasty heated roll and butter) warms one up nicely. My choice both visits has been their appetizer sampler; sauteed artichoke hearts, spicy shrimp, two stuffed mushroom caps and a lushious crab cake with remoulade on the side. Just the perfect amount of everything. Thank you! I imagine the view is quite lovely in the warmer seasons

A hidden gem. This place has great food, perfect prices, and a beautiful view. The staff are friendly, too. Highly recommended.

Had a great lunch here. The prices are good, and the food is delicious. We had scallops, the baked haddock, a Reuben, and the mixed greens and quinoa salad.

Nice atmosphere. Looking out over the water. Wait staff was properly attentive to our large group. The food was very nice. The menu had a nice selection of dishes that everyone was able to find a favorite. Hard to do with the 8 of us with different tastes and dietary needs. One person needed extra consideration and the staff was willing to cater the need. Overall a pleasant experience

This is the best restaurant experience i have had since becoming lactose intolerant. This is a family run establishment and what a wonderful family it is! Welcoming feels like you are coming home, courteous but not cloying, service top notch, down to earth and feels like family. The chef is amazing, dealt with my food allergies and provided a fantastically tasty meal from the menu with my options! This place made my weekend take a turn for the positive and blast into my happy space.

Call ahead if you need tables for a large group. They will happily accommodate. Food was great and so was the service. I had steak tips, they were perfectly cooked. In fact, the food was so good that my kids ate their entire meals without hassle, which is rare for them being 3 and 5. All in all it was a good experience.

Hadn't been here since it was Gretchen's, so I was very happy when I came with a friend on Friday for lunch. We couldn't believe how busy they were. We had a wonderful server who was alone until the manager came to help her. Every table was full! She did a great job handling everything. It was cold and rainy, and the perfect day for the onion soup. Delicious!! Almost as good as in France! Crab cakes were to die for, too. Will certainly be back soon for dinner!!

Visited the Lyons' Den on June 4th, The service was friendly and attentive. The food was incredible, very good and the seating was open with a view of the Lake. Would recommend this to everyone. You get a large amount of quality food for a very reasonable price.

A hidden jem. Located next to the lake, they have big picture windows to take advantage of the view. We ordered the fish & chips. The service was great, the meal was delicious and the price was very reasonable. The dinner rolls were wonderful too. They also had a great selection of craft beer

Amazing food and great menu! Make reservations! Small, intimate restraint on the water - not fancy but has some great fancy menu items. Staff is fabulous as well. Limited parking so car pool if you are going as couples. Love this place!

Great food and atmosphere!! Very impressed with our experience. We basically ate in parking lot with no view and had the most wonderful time! Our suggestion, make a reservation to get a beautiful spot indoor or on the lake! But no matter where you get seated, be assured to have the best dining experience!

While traveling we called ahead and got food to pick up. Seafood was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not sit inside but it looked well spaced out and had a beautiful view of the lake.

Great place with great food and a gorgeous view. The drinks are awesome! The owners are simple the most nicest people ever. I hope their kitchen help nightmare works out. I have loved it there since day one 3 years ago.

Greatest spot in the Lakes Region! Intimate & comfortable environment with fabulous views. Always top shelf menu selections for variety and quality. A true value for the price, wonderful friendly staff & owners. Dinner always terrific and lunch is a home run! Thanks Lyon's Den.

We have been coming here for a while now. They have the BEST Baked Stuffed Haddock.
The stuffing has shrimp in it too!!! This is the only place I know that u can get half onion rings & fries and not get an up charge.
The Staff & owners are so friendly they make u feel so Welcomed.
The Views of the lake are great and makes it nice to watch the boat traffic.
We come back time after time & bring friends & they are as pleased as we are.

Food was awesome! I had chicken oscar, my husband had chicken parmigiana. Perfect spot for a nice romantic night out. Didn't feel rushed. Also the only place that makes my onion soup the way I love it! Nice and crispy!

We've only lived in this area since Oct. Tonight we decided to try Lion's Den. This was one of the best meals we both had by far! My husband had the Special Haddock & I had the Sea Bass. Both were cooked to perfection & we both had the beets, so good. We topped our evening w/a chocolate Volcano! Of course we split it but the cake was moist & the chocolate was hot & yummy!
We were greeted nicely like they knew us & had the best table looking over the water. We worked all day helping family & were dressed in t-shirts & jeans. Thank you for being so kind & helpful. We really enjoyed our dinner.

We'll be back w/friends & family!
