Gilford Village Store

We tried the Frenchie burger, chicken fingers & parmesan truffle fries. The burger was amazing! The burger was cooked exactly as we asked, medium-rare; the onions were cooked to perfection. The sauce was delicious & the gruyere cheese was melted & lovely.
The parmesan truffle fries were good, not overwhelmed with truffle oil, or completely covered in parmesan. The fries themselves were good, although they could have been cooked a bit longer; but that's to our taste. The only disappointment was the chicken fingers; they were standard issue food service frozen breaded chicken strips. However, the honey mustard dressing was excellent.
Overall, it was a good meal, and we look forward to returning again to try the other offerings on the menu.

After hiking to the Belknap firetower we stopped in to the Gilford Village Store for lunch. We were really impressed with the quality of the food and portion size. The veggies on the cali sandwich were perfectly fresh. Everything in the dessert case looked amazing! The jelly donut cheesecake was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. We will have to find other hikes to do in the area just to have an excuse to stop in again!

Such a cute store! Always looks clean and organized. Many selections to choose from between prepared meals, breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, salads, pizza and more! They also offer baked treats and have a little ice cream counter. A nice place to find a local gift too. The staff is always friendly and welcoming! Today we took advantage of their special which was a BBQ meal and it was fantastic!

Tried this place for the first time this summer. We got lunch there to go several times a week and loved every dish especially the sides - OG Fries and the other fries that had toppings on them. Also found out they had breakfast and their breakfast sandwiches are great. Will definitely be back next year

Friendly people, adorable store, and great selection. The eggs on the breakfast sandwich were so fluffy, one of the best sandwiches around!

This place is crazy. A quick stop for essentials, they offer craft beer, wine, boxed foods, baked goodies, coffee and much more. We gave in to the temptation of the baked goods and we were not disappointed. Well worth the slight detour when you are in the Lake's region. We will be stopping in again when we are back up there this summer.

Went there this morning for an online pick up order of breakfast sandwiches, and it was amazing. The sandwiches weren’t around for long because we ate them so fast. All the food was hot and all the breads we got were fresh. 10/10 would recommend!

We were in Gilford for work and found this absolute gem of a store. The atmosphere is cozy and so inviting. The menu had a bunch of different options, the first day we came (we loved it so much we had to come back for another round) I opted for the Southwest Salad with chicken. It did not disappoint! The chicken was very tender, not dried out at all, and the cilantro vinaigrette added amazing flavor. The second day I went with the Italian Hero on a wrap. The sandwich itself was filling, and had plenty of meat and toppings.
The dining area is probably my favorite part of the store- although it only had a few tables and a bar at the window, the character brings a country home feel to the place, and makes you want to stay for longer than just a lunch.
And last but certainly not least, the staff here is great! Everyone was so nice, and, despite having a large group to feed, were very accommodating.
If you find yourself in the area, I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit! We will definitely be back!

Food and the folks are friendly and helpful. Food is great! Try the Truffle Oil on Fries with Scallions. My only issue... They were out of pasta for 2 straight days!?!?

Gilford had a gem with this little store. Adorable store with a surprising wine selection- I was very impressed. Great selection of items to choose from, just what you would expect to see in a country store. However, the food, especially their pizza is outstanding! The Buffalo Chicken Pizza is the best in the area. Staff is friendly and accommodating, which was awesome as I ordered 3 large pizzas and 2 flatbreads right before closing. Was able to visit with them and get a tour of the store while I waited.

Had our first lunch there yesterday. Great service and good sandwiches and potato salad. We were full and did not get one of the delicious looking desserts! But we will next time. Looking forward to our return visit.

We stopped in after hiking Belknap Mountain and we’re so happy we did! The store is so cute, clean and has a great selection of items. We even Found our favorite beer that we never can find in Maine! For lunch we order the Cali and the Spicy turkey they we’re amazing and we will definitely be coming back.

I’m not typically one to post a review, but I had to for this place. It is fantastic! It’s beautiful, with so many great curated items and fantastic food. I got the Sanibel steak sandwich and it was arguably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!

We ordered a catered lunch for 20 people, a couple sandwich platters, a couple side salads and desserts. Everything looked excellent. The guests were very happy. The communication with Heather was wonderful. Will definately order from them again!

With a renovation inside that is first rate without spoiling the feel of the store, the food selections are excellent and delicious! The folks there are friendly and knowledgable. They helped me find a great lunch at a fantastic price. With the great atmosphere and all those things thrown in it's a fantastic place to get a quick bite, or a leisurely meal. Hard to beat great atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff. I plan to go back when I'm in town.

One of the best little gems in Gilford! They are amazing. Food is always consistent and SO delicious! Not to mention, the owners & their employees are all fantastic! My daughter & I enjoy our weekly (...more like 2 to 3x a week lol) takeout from there. Love this place!

We’ve ordered sandwiches and pastries twice this week from the Village Store and everything was just delicious.
Everyone loved their choices but Berta’s Reuben was the best reuben I’ve ever had. The carrot cake cupcake and the strawberry shortcake were outstanding.
Everyone who helped us at both visits were friendly and caring.
We will be back soon.
