The Old Road - Murder Mystery Dinner Train

We had such a fun night celebrating a friend's birthday! The food was absolutely delicious! The performers were fun and really did a great job engaging the crowd! Our server, Jolene, was fantastic! The entire experience was so unique and one we will remember for years to come!

I was unable to take the tour and do the mystery read but hopefully I'll get a chance I had to take picture their where no menus or brochures so I was not sure how to get to attend

Love the train ride and dinner. Murder Mystery is only typically on Saturday. I wish it was more often.

The hours change and are unpredictable during the summer and Christmas.

We had so much fun on the train. The murder mystery was hilarious. Food was outstanding. We will definitely do another trip for sure.

My husband and I did this for our anniversary and it was perfect! I read some reviews before hand and wasn’t sure what to expect but after going last night, I would definitely recommend! I had the salmon and my husband had the Prime rib. Both were great. This was a sold out event so space was tight being that it’s on a train and we were paired with another couple. If you don’t want to meet me people then I suggest you go in a group of four since that is what the tables sit. It was a five course meal as promised and perfectly timed out. The entertainment was hilarious and I enjoyed it as well as most of the train from what I could tell. The French lady was superb and my husband loved the farmer but they all did an amazing job and I laughed a ton. If you’re expecting a murder mystery show with lots of laughs, great food, in a quaint train setting, then this is the perfect event for you.

The train layout was beautiful. A great table full of crackers, cheese and champagne. The staff made sure we had fun and the characters played their parts really well. The meal was excellent. Soup, salad, entrees and ended the night off with cheese pie. The ride was smooth and the temperature was perfect.

Wonderful experience great for the whole family. Ride was slow and smooth about 3 hours, conductor shared local history and dinner and service was excellent! Thanks Jolene! Christmas show was silly fun and spontaneous with lots of interaction. An all around memorable experience. Thanks!

I came with a group and we all enjoyed ourselves. The weather was perfect so the view was enjoyable. My waitress was very pleasing and accommodating. The good was top notch (I had salmon) and the soup was divine.
I will be making a return visit to the Dinner Train in the future. I gave also told everyone I know about it too.

I took my three granddaughters last weekend. We had a very fun evening. Food, excellent. Service, excellent. The entertainment, corny as expected, but fun. I enjoyed the vintage cars. The train was slow, as expected, and would be nicer after Daylight Savings Time to see out the window. A little pricey, but we don't go out that often so I am fine with the cost. I recommend the excursion.

The Actors on this train are very talented, funny and believable. The service from the waitstaff was 1st class. The drinks were made perfect, and reasonably priced. Overall, this was a very nice date night. The train however, is a very slow moving train, which the characters joke about in their act. We laughed pretty much the entire night, though and I look forward to booking our next trip with a group of friends. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures to share as the show was so engaging, I didn't take my phone out until afterwards.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the atmosphere and comical murder mystery was a nice addition to our special evening. I would highly recommend this dinning experience to everyone.

Recently enjoyed a Saturday evening dinner/ride out of Blissfield, and just have to say we were blown away by the quality of the actors, show, and food. Some of the other reviews seemed to be questionable, but perhaps those were isolated incidents. We found the actors to be stellar, their performances engaging and hilarious. Yes - it is more of a comedy show with a murder theme than a typical "Agatha Christie" or "Orient Express" whodunit. Go in with that expectation and you will laugh your butt off. The timing of the individual actors visits to our dining car (they have to cycle through 3 different cars, so they are essentially running 3 different shows for each ride!!) were timed perfectly with the arrival of each of our meal courses. Overall, very positive feelings and we will attend again and bring friends. I got the sense that they style of story formation allows for each ride to have a little different story. Many ways the outcome could change each time. Thanks for a great time!

Receiving reservations for the murder mystery dinner train ride as a Christmas gift, we weren't quite sure what to expect, especially when we didn't know anyone else attending. First of all, this isn't a live, interactive version of the board game, Clue. Actually, it is an old-fashioned train ride which includes dinner, entertainment and fun. We enjoyed a delicious five course meal, while being entertained by actors, who were bringing random passengers into their light-hearted murder mystery. The skit and its zany characters brought most people to interact together, which made for a great night of fun and laughter (for those who chose to have fun)! The nostalgic atmosphere serves as a nice refresher from the hype of current events. Just relax and enjoy riding on this beautiful, historical train.

We had a fantastic time. The actors were interactive, the wait staff was attentive, the food was good and the drinks were decently priced. Is a wonderful adult outing.

Wife and I went for our anniversary. The entire experience was whimsical a real ride into the past. I love trains and dining in a train for me is the ultimate experience in luxury. My wife and I will be doing this every year on our anniversary. Great service, decent food and FUN.

Great time! The actors are very interactive with the passengers! We cheered, boo'd ,laughed, and sang. Prime rib was delicious, and the chocolate torte was incredible! Highly recommend

We went with some friends who were never on the train. The atmosphere was great, the service was fantastic along with the food. The entertainment was just as good. If you never have been you have to try it. This was our 3rd time and will be back again.
