Lena's Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Wasn’t sure what to expect when my dad wanted to take me to this Italian restaurant in a very rural part of southern Michigan. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised.

First off … the portions! If you are not a big eater or don’t want leftovers for lunch, you may want to plan to split the meal.

I had the soup of the day which was nothing special but generously portioned and tasty enough. The pasta noodles in the soup were an overly soft but that’s somewhat to be expected when you order it later in the evening.

But, the pasta was incredibly aromatic and very delicious. I ordered the pasta bruschetta which is spaghetti with olive oil, roasted garlic and tomatoes, and fresh basil. It was so tasty. I ate much more than I anticipated being able to eat. And, have plenty left for lunch the next day.

It’s worth the stop and the prices are fantastic given the quality and quantity of food.

My daughter is vegetarian and there were a good number of options for her to choose among.

Excellent food and the portions are huge! I have not eaten here in about 15+ years, and only remember ordering the pizza. When we came in recently, we were impressed with the selection of pasta dishes. We had enough leftovers for lunch the next day, and then some. Our food was very tasty and served piping hot. Our waitress was very friendly and on the ball. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Everybody at our table enjoyed what they ordered. Can't wait to come back

Food is always fresh, and flavorful, Staff always bends over backwards to insure we have a great experience. Tried the Italian restaurant in Adrian and found out that Lena's is so much better in all ways. Going to be eating here more often if my Heart doctor allows ( just kidding)

Great service. Enjoyed sitting on the patio, though I would have rather not have had the TV on.

Food was very good, and the menu was eclectic. Portions were LARGE. Bread sticks were freshly baked per order!

Prices were very reasonable. As far as value and quality are concerned. I would drive up from Toledo anytime...about 25 minutes. As I was the designated driver, they gave me my beverage, Club Soda and lime FREE! Nice touch that was.

Wow!! I would have to say THE BEST Italian food I have ever had. It is an hour drive from my house and so worth it. You need to try this place. YUM

I’ve been driving past Lena’s restaurant for years and never been there. I’m so sad that I’m just discovering it! Lol

Hands down the best food in the area and at a very reasonable price! I come here often and have never been disappointed!

I have been here twice and the food is always fantastic. I like it better than Sauce in Adrian, and I would put some of their dishes up there with the best. The servers did amazing this Saturday, despite the insane crowd. I could visibly see the pressure, and they held up to the task. The owners are lucky to have some of those employees. My very minor complaint is that my Mac and cheese had about 40 jalapeños in it which overwhelmed the dish this time. I love jalapeños but they are generally just a side flavor to enjoy. Overall, keep up the good work!

This restaurant was awesome. It's small and very family oriented. I was amazed with the quality and quality of their food. Prices are expected for what you get. But it was amazing dinner with my family

They have the absolute best Greek salad. Didn't think I could finish it all, but it was so delicious it was no problem. Will be back!!!

Summer of pizza!! Same pizza from multiple places. Who has the best!? Ordered online easily, pickup was quick (back door, cooks on counter service basically). Pizza was excellent! Sauce was tasty, not a lot cheese but enough. Toppings somewhat small but sufficient. Thanks Lena's!

Everything was great and we had a lot to take home. The Bruschetta appetizer was the small and we still took half of it with us. The stuffed shells were awesome 😁😁😁

Stopped in when passing through going to Adrian. Convenient access and attentive staff. Food was really good.

I got alfredo, the sauce was a bit thin for my liking and they only gave me maybe 5 small size shrimp. However, the pasta portion was huge. The bruschetta was amazing. My husband's calzone was huge also and very good.

The deep dish meatsa pizza was the best I've had in a while. Brooke made sure our glasses were full. She was friendly and efficient. They have a big kids menu. My son ordered pizza to be delivered. I think they have the best pizza in the area. I definitely recommend the pizza.

The inside of the restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated with cool murals on the wall. The staff was super nice and I didn’t feel like I was being rushed. The courses were all brought out in a timely, yet non rushed manner and made for a nice, relaxed dining experience.
I got the chicken parm and it was honestly off the chain. The red sauce had a slight sweetness and nice subtle wine taste to it and it tasted like it had been deliciously simmering for a long period of time. My fried raviolis were huge and clearly made in house. The fried pasta was crisp on the outside and still retained that nice chewiness of fresh pasta. Fresh bread is brought to the table, which is a nice touch and the prices are super reasonable.

Also, the cannoli was incredible.

It was late for us to eat but everything was good

We dined at Lena’s for the first time for two adults. We enjoyed the Italian bread. We tried the special chicken and chicken Parmesan and both had great flavors. We tried the cannoli and it was excellent. Great service made it 5 stars!
