I have been seeing Dr.Lomeo since 1997. So over 24 years now. Every dr should be asking and caring as Dr. Lomeo. With my ear issues among other things is why I have had to see him so many years. I highly recommend him to everyone. Also, his nurse Judy has also been working with Dr many years and is just as wonderful as doctor. Of course all these years I know I will have to wait awhile to see him, but what some people don't think of is that yes u have to wait but its because of the wonderful caring person he is. If u ever needed to see him asap he would squeeze u in sometime that day. So of course this would make him behind schedule and it is because he cares.

Dr.Lomeo deserves a 5-star rating. Dr Lomeo has been my ENT for many, many years and my late husband’s too. He has always been personable, caring, and knowledgeable for things in his field. He He takes concerns seriously and works to resolve all that are resolvable with in his area of expertise, willing to send you to other doctors if need be!! His waiting room is always full and that may be why he has a 3.8, rather than a 5. That’s the type of caring doctor he is, working into his lunch hour even, giving his patients the time they need rather the 8 to 10 minutes health insurance companies only will reimburse for these days—so many patients an hour!! Just recently, I was the reason he ran behind, showing the kind of doctor you would want. My husband was dying, and he took the time to listen and console me! I was so grateful! In the meantime, someone had to wait. I happily wait when need be for him to be himself—a caring doctor!! We need many more of them! “Bedside manner” needs to be taught in medical school for those to whom it does not come naturally!! Years ago, my gripe, and only one, had been with the audiologist he used to have working with him, but that audiologist has been replaced! The fact that his waiting room if full and, you may have to wait and not be taken promptly is because he is in demand, and for good reason!! I say just take any wait in stride!! It will be worth your wait!!

Spent 6 months getting multiple opinions from 3 different Doctors on a problem I had inside my throat. All of them had different diagnosis from phlegm in pockets of my throat to vocal chord paralysis. Made an appointment with Dr. Lomeo who finally gave me the correct diagnosis of a thyroglossal duct cyst in my throat that was slowly growing throughout many years. When it became infected and swelled to the size of a ping pong ball and I could no longer swallow food, Dr. Lomeo immediately scheduled surgery. He was amazing through the entire process, keeping me calm before surgery, visiting me afterwards, and making the incision in the crease in my neck so it's practically invisible 3 yrs later. I see a lot of complaints about the wait time to see him. You may have a long wait time in the office to see him for a minor issue but when it comes to a life threatening problem he is the best surgeon you could ever have!

Dr. Lomeo did my sinus surgery. He was very personable - explaining everything through every step of the process - and did an excellent job when it came to the surgery itself.

Have always loved dr Lomeo! He has been the only ENT I've ever seen my whole life. Only thing that becomes a problem is the wait time in lobby during your appt is quite lengthy.

Went to see him back in July after having a tube put in right ear. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before I got seen and wasn't even in the room for 5 mins

I had an appointment on 3-22-2022
I waited for over an hour to be seen.
There was an elderly gentleman who had his face mask under his nose and the Doctors nurse came out and told him in a very offensive tone to put it up and made fun of him in front of all the patients and staff.
I was appalled!

I have also left 4 messages to get the test results back from my thyroid ultrasound that was on 3-21-2022, to this date I still have not received a call.
Im very frustrated and disappointed.

He is the worst doctor that I have ever been to. He did two sinus surgeries on me; back to back. He wanted to do a third and I ended up at U of M. I would ask for the first appointment of the day and would still wait two hours to see him. All he wants to do is surgery. Won’t try anything else. The final straw for me, he hit a nerve in my face and my face is still half numb (ten years later). Find someone else!
