I had my 6 month check up here last month and had a great experience. The front desk staff was very welcoming and the check in process was streamlined and easy to complete. The office was clean and modern. The dental assistant that took my x rays was personable and informative. Dr. Hamka did a great job with my cleaning and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. He was very gentle but thorough. He reviewed my X-ray findings with me and answered any questions I had. I felt no pain during the cleaning/exam and my teeth felt squeaky clean after. I will definitely be returning here for future visits!! Thank you Ypsi-Arbor family dentistry for a stress free dental visit.

As someone who is frequently considered about my dental health, this is the absolute BEST dentist I have ever seen. She works quick and efficiently, and the staff is the absolute same and has nothing but accolades for her. They worked with me when I was tight on money during Christmas and my rent when I had to get some work done and are extremely efficient. I will see this dentist until I move out of Michigan.

Amazing. A memorable experience for the most enjoyable and comfortable dental visit in 28 years. I love the water pick for cleaning-no harsh scraping on my teeth until my gums bleed. I’ve never felt such attentiveness from a dental team. This team is invested in their patients- asking about concerns and then actively listening and working with patients to ensure patients’ wellbeing as well as taking time to thoroughly answer and explain any questions. Reception is a breezy dream and feels very accessible-they are very kind and understanding and it doesn’t feel daunting to schedule/re-schedule appointments. I never felt pressured into a treatment, recommendation, or procedure. Such a relief. I cannot recommend Ypsi Arbor Family Dentistry enough!

They were very kind and welcoming. They gave detailed descriptions and came up with a treatment plan. They were understanding of limited finances. They were willing to work at my comfort and pace. Exactly what I would expect. I look forward to a long relationship here.

Finding a good dentist who you actually trust in your mouth can be a challenge if you're a nervous patient, and I hit a gold mine with this practice. Their location is pleasant, easily accessible, and very well maintained inside and out. The office lobby and various exam rooms are up to date, clean, well lit (love the open floor plan) and welcoming—I was immediately at ease in the exam chair which NEVER happens for me. The front desk staff were really kind and helpful when it came to settle my bill as well, which I appreciated.

Dr. Iqbal, her assistants and the whole staff are great. She and my dental assistant were timely and super friendly from the get go and took the time to explain the various procedures I needed to have done both after my initial exam, and again on the day that work was done. I never once felt talked down to or straight up ignored the way some dentists unfortunately tend to do. I had a ton of first-time fillings applied to my messed up teeth super painlessly and surprisingly quickly. Felt like I was in good hands throughout the hour, and the final outcome was fab!

Overall, great visit, highly recommend the practice if you are local to Ann Arbor/Ypsi, and have mild-high anxiety about seeing the dentist. Thanks Dr. Iqbal & crew! See you next time for the rest of my jacked up mouth haha!

I saw dentist Zaida Azam twice for a cleaning and fillings. She was great! I give her the highest patient recommendation! She was very personable and gentle and the process was virtually painless. Hands down, the best experience in the dental chair I’ve ever had.

Staff are all so nice and I LOVE having a woman dentist. The Dr. is so genuine, kind, and knowledgeable. I rarely ever have issues with my teeth so I was terrified about getting a filling (I'm a baby, I know). She talked me through the whole process and put me at ease.

Dr. Iqbal really listens to what you say and addresses your concerns. In my experience, most dentists/doctors/etc just nod while you talk but do what they want or what they think anyway without your input. Not her! She very much cares about her patients and wants them to be happy and comfortable. I know Dr. Iqbal genuinely listens to me. Happy to be a patient of YpsiArbor.

Dr Iqbal is the best dentist I've ever had! Very kind and gentle, she takes her time to explain treatment thoroughly and puts me right at ease. They're wonderful! I had some dental trauma about 12 years ago and as a result neglected the dentists for a long time.

The team here was able to help be get comfortable and over the course of 3 appointments get me a whole mouth makeover. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Very good experience at this office. The dentist is very passionate about what she does, she thoroughly discussed treatment options and answered any lingering questions we had. Dr.Iqbal really aimed to provide the best dental care possible for my dad and sister. My sister is usually a nervous patient, but the doctor along with the staff made her feel very comfortable. I started going to Ypsi Arbor Dentistry last year when I was referred by a friend who told me that Dr.Iqbal was amazing. Their office is VERY clean, the whole staff is friendly and personable, and they have all the state of the art equipment to keep my teeth healthy. I've never had to wait more than 10 mins for an appointment, and they always get me done very quickly. Dr.Iqbal is very professional and kind, and cares so much about her practice and patients. I highly recommend Dr.Iqbal and her team.

Dr. Iqbal is an amazing dentist! Very professional. She explains everything that is going on in detail. I recently had to get a crown. The procedure was painless. She has a very light hand and continuously makes sure you are doing good. I was impressed with this because I have gone to other dentist that had left my mouth hurting days after. The staff is extremely nice and efficient! The instruments used and technology is all up to date. I was able to see my xrays and detailed pictures of all my teeth in seconds. The front desk person Adel has always been friendly and welcoming. Also, being a fulltime student and my insurance not covering the crown they have been extremely considerate with working out a plan so I could get my procedure done right away. I highly recommend this dentist office!
