Been here many times and will come back. The interior is nice, homey, large bar counter. Fried pickle apps were good. The sandwiches are usually pretty solid as well. Beer selection is good with many local choices. Definitely recommend this place.

Best food I am so impressed this was my first time. The best is the chorizo cauliflower and the potstickers. Top notch 🏆 I will definitely be back!!!

Our first time here! It was FABULOUS! Grace was our server, and she was amazing. My husband had the Cubano. He loved everything about it. (Note: the side pepper is a hot one!) My brisket tacos, were spot on!
We will be back!

My friend and I decided we would try it since neither of us had been there before. We only ordered appetizers and omg!! Each one was better than the one before. We had the fried pickles, the brisket nachos, the potstickers and last but certainly not least, the chorizo cauliflower. We had exceptional service as well!!

Wow! Fantastic food and pleasant service. As a fine dining Chef with over 40 years of experience I’m a difficult person to impress. I Am Impressed! Food is fantastic and staff is very personable. Place is CLEAN and prices more then fair. Thank you Local!

Friendly atmosphere and a great beer list. The bacon wrapped dates were delicious and I loved the grilled shrimp tacos. Will definitely be back!

Our waitress Grace was excellent. She answered my numerous questions regarding the delicious chicken burrito I ordered. Definitely will return. Clean bathrooms and restaurant.

The Local - A special spot in the north west side of Grand Rapids that more people need to know about. The Local has always had great service, good prices and they pour a nice cocktail! Now they have a new chef Joaquin and he is a master flavor crafter. West Siders - if you haven't visited the Local is a couple months you need to.

Very good burgers. 2 for 20.00 bucks! Cant beat it!

Had the build your own burger with ample pieces of avocado and bacon. It made 2 meals for me. Soooo good.

Wow, the reviews are not exaggerations. The new owners definitely care about this place. The waitress and overall service was attentive and on-point. She also had nothing but positive things to say about the change in ownership, which is a great sign and very apparent. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and would highly recommend it. It was so delicious I definitely plan on going back for more. Good atmosphere, great food and service.

Love this place! The staff is friendly and attentive. The draft beer selection is numerous with the old standbys and lots of craft beer. The food is always good but the pizzas are the best!

The place is doing great. Nice to have other options then "bar food". Staff is always personnal. Food is good and unique, much needed in that area.

Great service, delicious burgers, and cold beer! The prices are very good, you definitely leave here feeling like you had a great meal for a fair price. The weather was nice, so they had the patio open so we sat outside, very pleasant atmosphere, music playing and far enough away from the road that there isn't too much noise.

The La Conca Burger was very unique.

We had a great meal. The server and timer were very pleasant and quick. They accidently put Mayo on my sandwich and the server caught it before I even looked and quickly brought it back to have it fixed. I was shocked when she said they tried to scrape it off and couldn't so they made a new one. Mayo never scrapes off lol. It was a fantastic sandwich though!

Great service! Fantastic hospitality! Fabulous food! Servers were at the top of there game! They kept the drinks full the tables clean!! Well done!! Food was cooked to perfection and served in a timely matter!! Management was helpful and visible!! Very nice place!! The atmosphere was very nice and festive!!

First time there. The mushroom and Swiss burger 🍔, was fabulous. Staff was friendly and courtesies. Patrons were also. It kind of felt like Cheers(the TV show) except no Norm just a Sparky.

Me and my boyfriend decided to stop in for dinner after going to the library. They had really good food and there was even live music which was a nice suprise. We fully plan on going back more often!
