Great Lakes Family Restaurant

We went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning, early. I had special order and they came out exactly how I order them. The waitress we had was friendly, attentive and was always right there when our coffee got a little low. I love the decor in there Lake stuff is always my favorite.

Great place to meet and eat. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. The food (we had breakfast) is good. I had a Feta and spinach omelet with a side (5 pieces) of bacon. Pretty good. I did ask for crispy, but I'm not sure she heard me. Still good. My husband had sausage and eggs. Also good. It's has a fun nautical theme so the kids will have lots of things to look at to keep preoccupied.

Five of us and it was only 66 dollars!.

This place has cozy and roomy seating.
High top tables, window seats, booths and regular tables. A must chew.

Great food and quick service even when place is busy...

Our waitress was great! She made sure we had everything we wanted, checked on us often, never let our drinks get empty. The food was better than I expected, I ordered a club sandwich with fries. The sandwich was delicious, lots of bacon and the turkey was really good. The fries were piping hot and in a big mound. The prices are very reasonable.

Great food! We had the Country Hash meal. Love the nautical themed decorations. Very cute. I felt bad for our waitress today because she was the only waitress and she had to bus her own tables too. Not sure why they were short staffed, but under the circumstances Danielle busted her butt to get everyone taken care of. She rocked!

We had a mini family reunion today of about 20 people. Our waitress Danielle was excellent, all of our food was served promptly and our drinks were tended to regularly. The food was excellent every body raved about the price, quality and quantity. Thanks for helping to make our reunion extra special.

I only go here for breakfast. Spacious, everything is good that I get. Which is eggs, hash browns and toast.
It's tricky when they close early but it seems to be the norm post-COVID. Plus if there are no customers I can't imagine it's worth the wage so it's NBD. Just used to Waterford having a 24 hr source of breakfast food, I miss that.

Came here for breakfast Friday morning. Ordered a special of 2 eggs, 2 slices of french toast and choice of meat for a little over 4 bucks. It was ALL delicious and the coffee was perfect. Service was excellent and timely. The girls were all very friendly. My cup was not empty for long.

Stopped in for lunch, on Saturday July 18 , needed a break from the heat and were quite hungry. Found the place to be nice and cool and happily greeted by the staff. and a large glass of ice water with lemon. need extra time to decide what to eat, being so hungry it all looked good. Hubby decided to have fish and cabbage soup, with fried potatoes I decided on a Reuben grilled sandwich with sweet potato fries.
We were not disappointed in any way, the soup was excellent even on a hot day it was a very enjoyable meal. just the right wait staff service as needed, a comfortable atmosphere and beautiful painting on the walls showing the lakes of Michigan and its beauty. We will return and enjoy a meal again. Highly recommended for choices , price , portions, and staff happy to have you come in .

This is the first time we stopped there to have breakfast. What a pleasant surprise the place was very clean and inviting above all the portion was big. The food was cooked as requested and perfect to the tee. I will be bringing my family there to show them the place and taste the food.

Yummy! Food made by someone who actually gives a care. I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was and how good the food was. Also very nicely presented. It is obvious that the chef knows what he's doing and takes pride in his work.

They have great food always. Everyone there is just so nice. The only problem my family had was it was really hot the a/c broke and the poor woman was starting running all around she had to wear a long shelves

It's actually adorable in here, I've been avoiding it but Highland Grille was inextricably closed on a Friday so we tried it.
Nice ambiance, nice waitress. Nice prices.
