🥾🥾🥾🥾🥾 Well guarded secret that this local preserve offers a number of connecting trails which are well maintained and diverse. Wide pathways in the grasslands 🌱🌱🌾🌾lead to extensive boardwalks through the marshlands. 🪷Beautiful woodland trails 🌳🌳which offer some manageable elevation. Great for families and dog🐕‍🦺lovers. Plenty of picnic spots. 🧺. Not crowded. Highly recommend-but keep it 🤐

I have lived in the area for many years and hadn't discovered this hiking area until my friend told me about it! It doesn't seem to be super well known and thus is not very busy - but it is a well maintained nature reserve with good trails for hiking and biking. There are a variety of paths you can take so you can hike for as long or as short as you would like. Most of the area is in the woods so it is well shaded and fairly protected from most wind. There is even a wooden fort you can find towards the back of the park!

A tremendous nature preserve that provides wonderful hikes through a wooded area. The preserve itself is fairly large and has well marked paths that are easy to understand and navigate. The shear beauty that Cherry Hill provides cannot be understated. The wildlife, the trees, the flowers, and so much more make this a must go to in the Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti area. It can be quite muddy and hard to walk after a heavy rain, but for the most part is easy going. It is also a popular place and you may run into quite a handful of people on a nice day. Lastly, the bugs can be a bit gnarly, so bug spray can be handy! Enjoy your next hike here!

One of the many Natural Areas in the vicinity of Ann Arbor, MI. The attraction of the (June 2021) was the abundance of 17-year cicadas. There were thousands, all singing their droning songs. It only lasts for a couple weeks and the next emergance will be in 2038. You have plenty of time to plan a trip.

Even without cicadas, wide, grassy paths allow visitors to explore the Preserve at anytime of the year. It’s a great place for a pleasant walk.

Real nice, we’ll-maintained trail network. Hills to climb if you want, wooden paths overlooking a nest swampy area. Grassy path through a meadow fillled with deer. We even saw an owl in a tree. It’s a super dog friendly place also. Worth checking out for a nice short hike.

Great trails. It was very muddy in the spring, but was pretty dry now. The colors and leaves are beautiful!

Fantastic variety of landscape. Very good/good trails (some low spots with water, but I crossed).

Tiny winding streams, good high overlooks, swampy crowded spots. Wonderful.

Probably about 1-1.5~ of trail without doubling back.

Wonderful nature walk. Lots of hills. Woods or fields or both. Plenty of benches to sit on. Saw a turkey in a tree there once that then flew over my head! That was a first! Snakes. Deer. There's a catbird family living there. You'll know when you hear one! It's a peaceful and tranquil place. Please keep dogs on a leash. My dog was attacked there once by a dog that was off leash. Enjoy!

Despite it being a blustery cold day, the trails were well maintained, a few muddy semi frozen spots and great winter views. We tried the path to the right and noticed a lot of dog poop which was surprising given the doggy stations both near the trailhead and other places. Dog owners, please pick up after your dog, no excuses, you give other dog owners a bad rap.

"AHHHHHH"-Brood X

Don't harm/kidnap the buzzy bois, they only have a few days to get jiggy and then they die so let them do their thing 🌼

Nice paths, multiple loops on a 160 acre site--half mile square. West side wooded and hilly with lots of boardwalks. East side more meadows but can be quite mucky in wet times of the year though work has been done to make some of the worst areas more passable. Usually trail maps at the trail head. Signage a bit confusing. It is nice that doggy waste bags are provided in multiple places. Love these trails!
