Axel's Restaurant - Roseville

Really good service - attentive and entertaining server. Wonderful patio area (35W is near and loud) with great sunset views. Bull bites were delicious and highly recommend starting your meal with that app. Fish tacos were incredibly flavorful!! So much food - more than enough to share. All in all a great restaurant and exceeds the "hotel restaurant" reputation.

Had to share my son’s experience! It was absolutely amazing! Drove an hour just to try it! The food was great! Came out hot and fresh! Saturday night and short staffed like the rest of the world and still good? Yes! Steak was tender and walleye was crisp! Definitely worth checking out!

went here for valentine’s day and the staff made everything so special! it was my first time dining in and i didn’t know what to expect but our server Wil was excellent! He was so knowledgeable and friendly, even the young lady hosting (i think allison?) was so kind and it made the evening a hit, i will definitely be coming back!

We haven't been here in a long time! Happy to be back! Service was excellent. Nancy was really busy but checked in with us often. She paced the meal well. The food was excellent! Steak was really tender and done to perfection! The sauce with the steak was delicious! Didn't feel rushed.

Awesome walleye sandwich. I thought the fried walleye would be heavy. It was light and delicious. Despite the sandwich being big, I ate almost the whole thing and ate it fast. Great 👍

Excellent. Opted for 8 oz fillet, 2 sides ($42). Had steak split and shared with child. Stash was well done and tender. Asparagus was grilled and tasty. We didn't care for the potatoes, but we don't eat many spuds, as is. Waitress was the best. We left her a $20 tip, as she was attentive and super hospitable.

I had my heart set on the amazing carrot cake for my birthday. We drove 20 mins to get this slice of goodness. Come to find out they were closed early. I ask if I could get two slices to go and they could 100% say no. Instead they said yes and I was able to have delicious carrot cake for my birthday. The service is amazing and I would 100% recommend you go. Plus, the food is incredible. I recommend the bull bites.

I stayed at the attached hotel for business so it was convenient. Staff was great and at tentative plus the food was very good. I had the buffalo bite salad one night and fish the next. Fish was great with nice presentation, a few of the buffalo bites were rather chewy but overall it was flavorful. I recommend Axels and would go there again without hesitation.

Fancy upscale restaurant with cloth napkins and table cloths very dark inside, dark wood furniture thankfully white floors. Will not be a good atmosphere the aged especially people with parkinson's or the beginning stages of dementia or poor eyesight.

They serve mammoth popovers with maple butter. Very attentive staff delicious food.

We had the walleye, generous portions, busy place attached to a Doubletree Hotel.

My son mentioned that restaurant and we take my son for his birthday. We enjoyed ourselves very much. One problem is that some food is too spicy green beans for my boyfriend. I think you need two separate ones: no spicy and one for spicy on buffet area

Love the patio outside, really spacious! Food has great portion and service was great too.

Shelly was primo. My son had a sore throat and she brought him soup on her. That allowed him to enjoy his meal more. What a great lady! Now to the food. One bite of the appy and we forgot to photograph the coconut shrimp and Bull Bites. They were sublime and the sauces complimented them well. The Bourbon Burger lacked some brie finesse, but the Prime Rib exquisite. Great food. Great service. I wish we lived closer.

Amazing!!! Our server Jennifer was spectacular- even when dealing with an indecisive teen! Food was very good. Music volume was low enough we could still conversate. Overall one of the better experiences I've had in the Metro area

Absolutely loved the food here. Yes it's a bit pricey. But the presentation was first class. I had the Stacked Cobb salad with chicken.

She made sure our visit was a great experience.
My husband ordered the spicy chicken penne and OMG it was so delicious! I had the salmon but it wasn’t great.
Coconut shrimp and buffalo wings was good, we enjoyed that!
