This store is amazing! It offers a large variety of candy, popcorn, popcorn tins, Abdallah chocolates, hand dipped ice cream with 16 flavors to choose from, fudge, bulk candies, and a lot more! The staff was super friendly and helpful. What a great experience! And the gourmet popcorn was delicious- try the cashew caramel!

During a recent family trip, we stumbled upon Hometown Sweets while stopping at a gas station. Little did we know that this hidden gem would provide us with some of the most delectable ice cream we have ever tasted. Our experience was so remarkable that we even made special trips just to indulge in their delightful treats. Not only is their ice cream exceptional, but they also offer a mouthwatering butter popcorn that is definitely worth trying. Additionally, the friendly and pleasant service provided by their young employees added to the overall positive experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Hometown Sweets for anyone seeking an unforgettable sweet treat adventure.

We all love blueberry ice cream! Best ice cream in metro areas! Make sure you call if you decide to drive a long way to try their ice cream, ---a couple of time our favorite flavor simply ran out. Though other flavors are delicious too, blueberry is the best 😍👍

Best popcorn I’ve had anywhere. I drive an hour just to buy a bag of it. They pop it fresh everyday, no stale popcorn here. The Chicago mix is my favorite. We also love their ice cream waffle cones as well. They don’t skimp and there is something special about their ice cream. They have different weekly flavors. Just a fantastic local business.

The store has been remodeled, and it looks awesome. We purchased three bowls of ice cream, which tasted great too. The store has tons of candy, popcorn, ice cream, etc. which means we'll definitely be back. The prices are very fair and affordable for all families, so I'd definitely recommend to anyone with a good sweet tooth. 🍧

I love this place and am strongly addicted to the Mint Mackinac fudge ice cream. The only downfall is they don't have it everyday 😅🤣 probably a good thing. The owners are very friendly and all service has been great. My daughter loves that it's a candy store as well.

Stopped by after a hot day of Lacrosse. Plenty of options for ice cream at reasonable prices. When I mentioned a nut allergy, the girl behind the counter checked the allergy chart. She notice it didn't list all the ice creams. She mentioned it to the owner, who was on the phone in a few minutes checking the info on the sheets with the distributor. Great customer service! Will be back when I'm in the area.

We like the improved decor and the wider variety of candies, including Abdallah's chocolates. Still making popcorn and now carry ice cream from Cedar Crest rather than making their own. But the ice cream is very good. We stop in at least weekly.

Very perfessional! My wife has severe nut and banana allergy and every time I've asked them to get a new scoop and or sanitize it they did no questions asked! I can't wait to bring my son here when he gets older!
