I was standing outside reading the menu here when some guy walked out and gave me "the look" then told me how great the food was here. He was so enthusiastic about the food here I just had to try it and I was not disappointed! I ordered 5 different dishes here and was treated to something I can only say was a culinary experience. All the food here was great and I'd highly recommend coming here.

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing the food was! I live in the city and was visiting a friend in West Orange and we decided to come try Gioia Mia, which came under new management and owner a year ago apparently. Let me tell you, the food was out of this world! I don’t think I had a better dinner in my whole entire life. They are BYOB, which I didn’t know, but they have a liquor store down the street that delivered my wine in less than 5 minutes of calling it in!!!

The dinner starts with a homemade focaccia that was amazing. We also decided to step out of our shells and ordered the chicken liver mousse. When I tell you my friend would never even think about eating liver, she absolutely loved it!!! It was such a perfect pair with the strawberry rhubarb! The asparagus tabbouleh salad is also something I would have never thought would be in the same dish, and it was delicious! The scallop tiradito - oh my god. The flavors in that was perfection!!!! We then had agnolotti, malfadine, and cavatelli. The cavatelli and malfadine were on point!!! Agnolotti was also very good but out of the 3, it was my least favorite comparing how flavorful everything else was. And to end, we had a hanger steak and the pan seared scallops. The scallops were amazing!!!! And the steak was literally cooked soooooo well and how it was coated in au poivre couldn’t be more perfect.

What a culinary dining experience this was. Can’t wait to come back again!!!!

What a beautiful and cozy restaurant! I loved the food here. I got the squid ink pasta and my friend got the chicken. Both had delicious flavors and were really well made. The earl grey panna cotta was divine- and I don’t even like earl grey tea. Highly recommend.

The perfect date night! My husband and I were thrilled to finally get a chance to checkout the most romantic newly reopened dinner spot in Montclair, NJ, Gioia Mia.

As soon as we arrived our table was ready and we nestled into a corner spot in the back dining room. Our server immediately brought water and opened our own BYOB red wine. We had been watching for the seasonal winter menu for weeks. We knew right away we wanted the Tuna Tartare, Crab Tortellini, the Heritage Porkchop, and the Hanger Steak with a side of crispy maple brussels sprouts.

Love this new addition to Montclair! Had the pleasure of dining there this evening and was very happy to find both vegetarian and non-veg options. The peach salad was delicious as well as the oysters, gnocchi and squid ink pasta. Love that the menu isn't too large but has more than enough options. Service was excellent. Try this one out for date night!

WOW! If you’re a foodie this is a must try. Oysters, mussels, gravlax, chicken liver mousse, duck ravioli, and pork chop are all divine. Exceptional atmosphere and service. Love this place.

They have delicious food. They give you the softest scrumptious bread to begin your meal. Kale salad was refreshing. Burrata was well balanced with the reduction. They do offer kids pasta too. To top it off it’s BYO.

Highly recommend for chix liver & steam mussel (with real $8 per lbs thai basil!! Yes!! Not Italian basil) for app.

Entrees !! Duck ravioli. & nice portion steak. And last but not least with the flavorful chocolate cake.

I've been looking to try more upscale restaurants to expand my palette and this place did not disappoint. The Octopus and Raw Oyster appetizers were absolutely delicious and all their pasta options were fantastic! The food overall is on a completely different level; everything blended together so wonderfully to create an amazing gastronomic experience. It's truly artistic the way all the flavours come together! The staff made us feel extremely welcomed and it felt like home. I came here to celebrate my birthday and they even had a card and dessert ready for me! I'll be coming here for the rest of my life and bringing all my family and friends whenever I can!

Hello, fellow diners! Lemme tell ya, this place is amazing 🙌 We were in from out of town, and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! The food was incredible, from the apps to the entrees. Their special Pate was to die for, and the Delicata Squash is a must-try. I could go on & on about the Braised Duck & Taleggio Triangoli and the Scallop Crudo, but I'll let you try Gioia Mia for yourself. Moreover, the service was just as amazing as the food 👍 Our server was super-attentive & did a terrific job at handling our large party. The Head Chef stopped by after we finished, to say Hi 👋 Then, the owner, Mary, came to our table to check on us a few times, which was really thoughtful. It was such a friendly atmosphere, and I'll definitely return when I'm back in the area! Do yourself a favor & give it a go!

Fascino is one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been here for dinner numerous times and they never disappoint. There are so many things to love about this place (ambiance, service, price, creativity) but I think why I love it so much is that they serve just the right portions so that you leave satisfied after an amazingly delicious meal and not just full. Their portions are just the right size and their menu seems to change just enough to keep the consistent delicious plates while still introducing new items. Also, sorry for the mediocre pictures, my wife took them :)

A great dining experience! Shared 4 dishes, and all were amazing. Local mushrooms with pasta. Braised duck ravioli. Pan seared scallops. Pork chop perfectly prepared (google the menu for the details!) Very good service too.

This was one of the best restaurant meals we have had in a while. Highly recommend the grilled peach salad, street corn, pork chop and the duck pasta. But honestly we tried a bit of almost everything and it was all REALLY good.

Such a great dining experience at Fascino! The food was amazing and we loved that it was a BYOB. The romaine salad was phenomenal. We also ordered the sea bass & hanger steak! Portions were perfect for us. The peach crostini was wonderful as well, not overly sweet. The birthday card was a beautiful touch, I have never received that at a restaurant! We will definitely be back!!

We went with some friends as a small celebration for my wife's birthday. We made a reservation on the Resy App. We arrived a few minutes early and the table was awaiting us. This is a BYOB restaurant which we were prepared for. We ordered the oysters to start. The Baked oysters were delicious. The squid pasta was amazing. Steak and scallops were also fantastic. Dessert was excellent!. The service was perfect, and the chef came out at the end and chatted for a few. This is a perfect spot for some Good eats and a quaint little environment. Highly recommend checking it out.

Attended the Antinori wine dinner Chef Logan presented a wonderful and interesting food and wine pairing. What a delicious, fun and informative event. My favorite dish was the guanciale bianco - off the chart! Big thank you to the entire staff, excellent service!

We wanted to come here for a long time. Finally, we got to try the amazing food served here!
Last night we went there for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly and we got to put in our order in fast (we looked up the menu online because we were nosy:D )
Both of us had the tasting menu. I attached some pictures of our food but we sadly forgot to take pictures of the octopus, the crab stuffed zuccini and our dessert - it was just too good to pause and take a picture ;)
Besides that we got a really cute envelope with best wishes from the staff for our anniversary- which was a very nice detail we thought!
All around a great place for a quiet date night with amazing food!

I had a very enjoyable and memorable outdoor dining experience at Fascino Restaurant. I ordered the Spicy mussels for appetizer, their signature ricotta gnocchi for Entree and flowerless chocolate cake with vanilla gelato and Burbon caramel for dessert. Everything I ordered was in good taste. Perfetto!!!
I honestly couldn’t fault any of the courses. I highly recommend if you have a taste for authentic Italian food. First time here and I shall definitely revisit anytime I’m in New Jersey.
And oh, by the way, you get to BYOB. Super cool

Excellent service and good food. Relaxed, but upper scale ambience. Music was mellow easy listening hits. Got loud with groups arriving, but bearable. Still not used to Jersey's BYOB restaurant policies, but the bottle service is prompt is a bit limited for smaller drinkers. Carpaccio was fabulous. Good menu choices. Took a while to decide on just a couple items.

Excellent! We ordered the tuna crudo, zucchini flower stuffed with crab (special), agnolotti, pork chop and chocolate torte! The agnolotti was good, not great; but everything else was AMAZING! The pork chop was one of the best I’ve ever had! The service was excellent and ambiance was very nice. Love that it’s BYOB. We brought wine but people at a table near us didn’t and they were able to have a local liquor store deliver some (it’s a partnership between the restaurant and liquor store) - genius! Will definitely be back!
