Absolutely love this place. Great people, awesome vibes, aesthetically pleasing cafe/office spaces & best of all great coffee! <3 Nice place to get some work done while enjoy some of their best drinks/food on the menu. Personal favorite, their coffee, paninis & yogurt parfait.

They make a mean cold brew! I love my fruity African origin coffee, but this was delicious Peruvian coffee, will have to go back for more.

I usually pickup the bagels and lox or the caprese sandwich. They make it just how you like it!

By far the best coffee shop in Newark. Camillo’s passion for all things coffee is what makes the cafe so special. The menu is growing every day and all the food is fresh and delicious. If you’re looking for a great cup of coffee and a fresh pastry, this is the place to go!

I’m not a coffee drinker but if you’re looking for the international artisan coffee locally distributed your first stop should be Great Notch Coffee Shop. Beautiful space within 3rd Space where there is plenty of space to connect with the community. Lots of options (e.g. - almond milk, oat milk) for additions to your drinks so nothing to worry about.

Great coffee and fresh pastries. Menu looks amazing.Next time I come I am going to try the house omelette, I heard the omelette’s are the best ones in Newark.

There is always an issue when I come here, and I always order something simple. I think it boils down to a staffing issue. Last time I was here, I ordered three orders of avocado toast for pick up about 20 minutes before getting there. When I arrived, they were still preparing it. I wait another 20 minutes for what was supposed to a simple pick up, and when I return to my office, they served us old brown avocado. I watched them preparing it so it was Not us waiting too long to eat it.
My coworkers were extremely upset and we could not finish our toasts. Other times, same thing. Despite ordering in advance, food is never ready. The most memorable incident was when a male staff member did not look when handing me my coffee and was squeezing it and actually dropped it on the floor before I could even grab it properly . Had to wait another 15 minutes for it to be remade.

Today, I came in after a group of girls who were pondering the menu, they graciously allowed me to go in front of them, I ordered a simple latte. I was asked if I was with the group who appeared to be ordering food, I confirmed that I was not. There were no other people waiting for items. The two girls behind the counter were chatting casually. After waiting twenty minutes for a latte, I asked how much longer it would be, and was told oh, we thought you were with that table (even though I was sitting waiting at another table and verbally told them that I was not with the group when asked), and the latte was finally prepared.

It is unfortunate that this super conveniently located and cute place has employed such lackadaisical staff because it would be a place my coworkers and I would order from regularly due to the proximity to our job. I would suggest some additional training or a conversation with staff about prompt service and not serving old food. A simple we do not have avocado right now but we have other items would have sufficed and would have allowed us to enjoy the breakfast we paid and waited for. We all have to be focused at our jobs, especially when we are attending to professionals who cannot wait 40 minutes for coffee during the workday. Please do better.
