This is my new favorite Sushi spot.
This place is small and popular. I suggest making a reservation. Chef selection sushi for two. Was so good and fresh. We couldn’t finish it all. Shrimp and vegetable tempura was crispy and the batter stayed on. The tempura sweet potato was a nice surprise.
The staff is very nice and attentive.

NYC fresh sushi quality, but only NJ price. I like they always have special fish and off-menu surprises. The fish is always fresh and from Japan directly. I like they have Uni and oyster that are very fresh. Overall, it's 5-star experience. Highly recommend.

We had a good time here. I thought the wagyu beef sushi with the gold leaf on top was very nice, had a nice smoke/charred flavor to it yet very soft and tender. Soups were nice, service was very good and the atmosphere is very pleasant and very clean. 🙂

An absolutely delightful experience. The owner, not only personifies the rich Japanese culinary culture, but truly loves what he's doing. They get fresh fish shipped directly from Japan. Dishes are delicious and a treat for other senses as well. We couldn't help but take a lot of pictures of this memorable experience.

Awesome place!!! Authentic Japanese food with Michelin level presentation. And of course you can taste the freshness of all the sashimi & sushi. Our server was knowledgeable and she recommended good choices from the specials menu. Just it might be a little pricey in NJ.

Very nice place, we were a party of 5 and the lovely staff managed to seat us right away during a staurday night! The fish was nice and flavorful, though the portion is on the slightly smaller side. Overall wonderful time! The staff was friendly and attentive :)

We came here for lunch today to treat my dad for his bday. I came across this restaurant from a google search and thank god it did not disappoint. Everything was great from start to finish. This place is a hidden gem! We were impressed with the server since he was by himself. Service was great despite the fact they were short staff. He was friendly, efficient and attentive.

For the food: I didn’t get to take pictures of our appetizers cos we devoured them. We had the spicy seafood miso soup, shrimp shumai, grilled squid and smoked duck breast. Duck breast just melts in your mouth, grilled squid is cooked perfectly and the broth of the spicy miso soup was so good. Not too spicy and tasty, loved the shellfish!

Entrees: Seafood fried rice, Angus Steak, Pork Ramen, Dynamite Roll, Pri Pri Roll and Green Dragon Roll. Everything was freshly made and we enjoyed every bite. There was not a single dish that we disliked.

Yes it’s a bit pricey but worth it. It’s BYOB!

Best part of this meal is that we didn’t have to go to NYC and it’s only 20 mins away from us. We found our new fave spot. Thank you Wabi Sabi for a delicious meal. We’ll be back!

One of the best sushi place I have ever been to in NJ. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worthy for the fresh , great quality. We are a party of five, adding tip about $100pp. the sushi/ sashimi combo each slice is thick not thin, so the amount is big. Eel fried rice is a bit surprise. it’s kind a bit ‘juicy’ fried rice, not very dry, with a bit corn adding the special taste texture. We also ordered the chicken and beef yakitori, not too bad. Btw, the people there is very nice, very passionate to introduce and explain each dish. We will be back:)

I have to start this off by saying I am a sashimi SNOB. When I lived in JC, I would go into the city for the kind of quality I needed. Recently I moved into the area and I found this place entirely by accident... And I am BLOWN AWAY. The superior quality and freshness, the exquisite blends of flavors, the beautiful presentation... AND THE SERVICE! Marco is AMAZING! He knows what he's doing, happy to serve and you can feel it! He will answer questions, accommodate and cater to your needs, and he'll take his time with you... Each table has our own unique experience. I also love that they have homemade desserts by Alice! She's so incredibly talented, creative and so modest! She's GIFTED! Take a look at your plates when you get there, because she MADE them! These two are FAMILY now and it's become our go to for our nights out. ❤ And I can't wait to see you there!!!!

We arrived a bit late at 8pm, but the food was still freshly cooked and the server was still patient. I personally like the tango mango and truffle fries most, others like wagyu, fired rice(mostly recommended), grill squid and Italian sausage are also fantastic!! It’s almost the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been. Definitely worth trying again even I came all away from New York!!

Real gourmet! Been to & eaten in over 20 U.S. States & over 15 countries in the world & perfectly happy to rate this restaurant as one of the very best. Friends I invited from Queens now want to bring their own friends over. A+ in taste, presentation & service. So good I hesitate in sharing my rating for fear it would jammed up the place.

We came here on a Tuesday night and met the owner Alice! She explained the menu to us patiently and also taught us some incredible knowledges about different type of fish! I personally like the white tuna sushi the most as the texture was extremely smooth. It was a great night spent at wabi Sabi with fresh sushi, delicious flan (it's a must try!), and friendly staffs.

The one thing that really stands out is the attentiveness of the staff. Besides the nice atmosphere and the delicious food, they have a very pleasant bunch of workers.

The menu is also very well arranged with a good deal of options that exist in harmony. So far my favorite Japanese restaurant in Bloomfield. Go check it out!

Attentive service and hidden jewel in Bloomfield NJ. Specials menu with the uni, A5Waygu, sweet lips , toro, and poke are a must try. The mainstay staples of sushi and sashimi for 2 and specialty rolls are all home runs. Definitely add this to you neighborhood go to spot.

In a small unassuming place, this jewel of both sushi and other Japanese/fusion cuisine is hidden away. It really could stand up easily next to any of the fanciest places you might come across in town

Our new favorite Sushi place! Tommy and Alice do a fantastic job here and really care about your experience. The Ambience is great, and all the little cups and dishes are handmade by Alice herself!

The sushi is amazing! Especially the Toro; get the TORO. As fresh as they come. I also had the Duck Ramen, and although the actual ramen was only decent, the Duck was amazing! So tender and went perfectly with the broth, which has a touch of heat to it. Big portion too!

Alice also handmakes her deserts. She has a great flan that is always light and fluffy, and she makes her own Black Sesame Ice Cream too!

Never had a bad dish here. They are open again for In Person dining, and have checks in place to keep you safe and comfortable. So GO, why are you still reading this?!

Every time I go I try something else and just everything was wonderful! They work with pure and fresh produce that will give you the best taste! Truly amazing experience! Great staff, lovely atmosphere, cosy restaurant. P.S. : This place is byo 🍷
