We have been coming to Momoya for years and after they closed to remodel we noticed how much we really missed Momoya and nothing compares to the quality and freshness of each dish.
We love the vibe, the dishes, the presentation. The freshness is every bite.

went one a cute little date with my friend after our bartending class across the street. It was just us in the restaurant. The aesthetic and food presentation was chef kiss + Good service! Also discovered passion black tea here and I’m in love forever 🍱🫶🏽🥢

The food is amazing and the ingredients are really fresh. The presentation is impressive. Many of the sushi dishes come with little castles on the plate and such. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating. It's BYOB. And it's even moderately priced. We love this place!

I been living in Bloomfield for many years and after trying Momoya, they king of set the bar for great tasting sushi. After introducing my wife to this place it quickly became her favorite even after trying many different places during trips or vacation. Thank you to the Momoya family for everything you do. I am glad they survived the last 2 years which were hard on a lot of family owned businesses. Peace and love 🧘🏽‍♂🥰🙌🏼❤🧿

I love coming here. The sushi is consistent and the service is beyond great. Usually come here in the afternoon. I can honestly say out of all of the times I've came, the place was filled with people only once. The chefs are creative and make sure the sushi is presented in the best way possible.

I've been coming to this spot since before it became the wonderful sushi powerhouse it is today (think it used to be called "Kira Kira" over a decade ago 🤔). This restaurant easily has the freshest & tastiest sashimi in the Northern NJ area. Their sushi roll selection is excellent as well with numerous novel combinations that aren't just remixes of plain rolls. Not overpriced and easy to get to, you'd be missing out if you didn't give this place a try. A++ 🐡🐠🦈🐟🐬

The place is very small and quaint. The staff is amazing. The sushi tastes amazing and the presentation is really good. You won't be disappointed by this place.

Good food. Love all the rolls and sushi we ordered. Price was right for the food. Service was good for our group of 5. Food presentation was wonderful. Hat's off to the chief. Friendly and very professional staff. Love the place, forgot to take a picture of the wall with Japanese paintings.

Veggie hand rolls were great! Friendly people and good Thai bubble tea. Bubbles could’ve been squisher though…

I have been going to Momoya for years and it never disappoints. My family and I love everything we try, it is always fresh. The bento box is a favorite I even love their coffee. The family that owns it are wonderful, kind and professional. The lunch menu is a great deal. You must give them a try!

I found this place by accident and it's now my new favorite sushi place. Their rolls (in my opinion) are larger/better stuffed than anywhere else. Fresh rice, fresh fish, and it tastes incredible. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, always ready and on time whether ordering for delivery or pick up. I have a new ritual on Thursdays where I treat myself to 2 spicy tuna rolls. Pretty sure they'll know me by name soon enough lol

I got ramen which was delicious and a shrimp tempura that was very crispy. The music was nice and the service was good. A great neighborhood spot!

Momoya in Bloomfield, NJ is one of our favorite sushi spots. Went there yesterday for a birthday celebration. The staff are always pleasant and the food is awesome! The sushi chefs make great tasting rolls and make great presentations on your plate (see pics)! Always a nice, pleasant experience here! If inclined, BYOB.

Overall, the quality of the meal was very high. The service was good too, buy nothing out of the ordinary. Also, the ambiance was very nice. We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn't busy at all. The price of the meals seem relatively pricey but not outrageous, so be prepared to spend a few dollars more for a tasty meal.

I have to comment on this place, I absolutely love this restaurant. There food is really delicious. I have tried a few items off the menu( actually to many to name ). Their sushi is really fresh and there calamari is fresh and crunchy. That's my favorite. I live in Bloomfield so I usually have it delivered and occasionally dine there with a few of my girlfriends and it's B.Y.OB. there so we'll bring a bottle of wine. I would highly recommend.
