Metuchen Corner Deli

Last July after coming home from a trip I was looking for a new local breakfast sandwich spot. I did what anybody else would do. I Googled it. I saw that this place was pretty local to me and I stopped in. I ordered a couple of sandwiches and everything was fantastic. Great prices along with a great portion. I haven’t stopped eating there since and I’m there at least once a week.

This place is a small business gem! Food is good, service even better, and the prices are more than reasonable. I was in a fix (no thank you Shoprite S. Plainfield catering) and these guys catered a party of 30 in 20 minutes!! Thank you all for saving the day! Oh and the egg and cheese is A++++

I'll admit that I was skeptical at first, but I have to agree with the other reviews. The value of the food you get from the Metuchen Corner Deli is great. I bought a large sub and they nicely generous portions for a very respectable price. And the quality of the food was good, too. Very happy to have ordered from here and be supporting the community. Signage is tough, so you have to be on the lookout for the place. It helps if you see the pictures of the outside of the location to know where to park and go in. Will definitely be going back to support them.

Best bacon egg and cheese around! Have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered from Metuchen Corner Deli. Great portions for the price and quality is great too. Best of all, all of the staff are very friendly. Makes you feel like family when you come in. This is my go to spot for breakfast and lunch.

Best quick and affordable food. I usually get a bell buster for breakfast and a Italian combo or burger for lunch and it’s always done within 5 minutes of me calling. Always good and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and super easy to communicate with.

Love this place! Always hot n fresh; made to order. Prices are very reasonable and their portions are generous.

Great Group of employees that are always friendly and smiling. Food is very good and gets done quickly (Always has been a Take-Out Joint). It can get very crowded (before COVID-19 hit) in there. Highly Recommend Metuchen Corner Deli !!!!

Best Deli in Metuchen! Boars Head meats, bakery fresh rolls, and all fresh foods! Not to mention the employees are some of the nicest, happiest people I’ve ever met. Prices are great and their coffee is perfect.

This place is the real deal. The owner and supportive staff are a true team. They run a very well oiled machine. Great food and service. Also the value vs cost comparison is perfect. What you pay for the value is far better

Good food at a reasonable price. Friendly people serve you the take-out meals. Also larger orders of take-out available at a reasonable price. A little difficult parking when busy since it is located at a bad intersection but still worth the end result.

Great place to get a breakfast or lunch sandwich with a friendly staff. No seating or anything but the food is always good.

Best damn secret (or not so secret for those of us there several times a week) in town. All Boars Head. Fresh bread. A million drink options and super nice employees.

Old school deli. Simple, efficient, clean, quick, fresh. Prices are remarkably reasonable and the quality is superb. In all the building up Metuchen has done, this low-key deli clearly stands out.
