South Valley BBQ and Lounge

This was my first visit to this establishment and it definitely won't be my last.. I had a great time, the food was excellent, the music selection was on point, the people and staff were exceptional. I am not a paid spokesperson, I recommend South Valley BBQ & Lounge to anyone looking for everything I mentioned.

Went for a comedy show. It was a great low key lounge that does karaoke nights, comedy shows and just a great lounge to either listen to DJ or some nights they have live bands. The BBQ platter was amazing meat cooked to perfection it was enough to feed three people. The mac and cheese tasted amazing. The candied yams were okay but not awful needed to be cooked a little more. The skirt steak which I asked to ve cooked well done was like butter grilled just enough to be well done but not cooked so hard u can barely chew it. Definitely took leftovers home lol. Appetizers the fried calamari was fried to a beautiful tasty perfection. The henny bbq wings were amazing not overly saucy which I dislike they had amazing flavor. Their ciroc and henny punch was very good. The prices were very reasonable for such good food rating 9/10

Love coming to enjoy the live music on the patio in the back. Nice vibe, delicious bbq. We got 2 bbq platters to share.

My baby shower was hosted here back in August. John and the staff exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to ensure all our guests were taken care of. The food was served timely and just as we requested. There wasn’t one complaint from any of our guests. I would highly recommend them for catering or just stop by for a bite after work! They will not disappoint!

Great happy hour specials including $6 house wines, $5 beers, and food until 7pm. The catfish fingers are delicious: generous portion, freshly fried, served with tarter and hot sauce. Staff are extremely nice!

This place came as a pleasant surprise. I've driven by this location several times in the past but never bothered to stop in until recently. The food was good, the wings were DELICIOUS, and the drinks were spot on! I will definitely be back very soon!!!!

The food was hot and came out quickly even though the location was very busy. Upon arriving home, I discovered my sides were missing. The manager sent someone to my home to deliver them and apologized for the mistake. I appreciate how quickly and professionally the matter was addressed. We'll visit again

This spot has everything you need for a night full of vibes. My cup was never diluted in ice because our waitress was on it. The food was fresh and drinks top notch. It’s in the cut and out the way just the way sometimes we prefer

The manager, Monique Bass, was extremely helpful is executing my ideas and suggesting the best Dj and food items on the menu!
During my event she stayed ontop of everything we needed.
I’ve also been supporting the manager’s, Monique Bass, foundation ‘What’s Behind the Bra” for women who have and/ or are battling breast cancer.

Really great BBQ and good sides. I got ribs with a side of mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. The ribs were good by themselves and had a good smoke flavor. The bartender was very nice and good to talk to.

Our party of 3 was here to support a friend that was hosting a comedy show. Parking was easy (get there early). The host(s) and security were welcoming and professional. The server(s) were also personable and professional. The drinks were very good. They don't give you a huge cup with ice and a splash of liquor. They taste good and you get a nice buzz. The food was great. I'd go back, even if it were just to try more menu items. The show was awesome and so was the host, GL Douglas.

I don’t normally leave reviews but the food was so good I had to! I ordered the broccoli which they ran out of, and I would have been disappointed had the the greens not been so amazing!

Always have a great time. Great atmosphere to watch all sports inside & outside. Different events to engage in, weekly. Perfect venue to host your next private event.

Food is incredible, from the wings to the brisket to the red velvet cake for dessert. Great service — server took care of us and made sure everything came out quickly and didn’t forget a single thing.

A beautiful black owned experience. Replica basquiat paintings on the walls. Other patrons were friendly. The catfish tenders and brisket egg rolls were delicious. Great music when we went friday. Jazz outside and house inside with Dj eq. Overall a good night out with the wife.

South Valley BBQ and Lounge is fantastic! The service was awesome, and the food was top-notch with excellent flavor. Highly recommend it!

Collette I'm in your corner superb Service you gave me! Well For those who DONT KNOW FIRST OFF SMOKED MEAT WILL ALWAYS BE PINK !!! FOR THOSE WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT PINK MEAT!!! ITS NOT RAW OR UNDERCOOKED.
Now I am an avid SMOKED meat person. Any place that calls themselves BBQ I'm trying them out. This place is SUPERB!! even down to the vintage ambiance of the back room, a house where the young people stay while the adults play. Now the FOOD oh my goodness FABULOUS TASTE !!! After trying all the sauces the Molasses sauce wins ! Fall off the Bone good. As for the drinks Hey Annette your skills of consistent flavor is SUPERB ! Mia from Bar Rescue would be proud.

Ordered a few things from here for pick up, mostly BBQ and it was all so good. It was my first time coming here and I can't wait to come back. I also had their mini red velvet cake which was great too.

Hear the Dishes/Food be Awesome thus as it has multiple rooms I go and get busy on their large step in Dance Floor flanked with Tables booth couches🛋 & chairs 💺. I A Master Dancer the Dancing DJ🕺 parties on especially Saturday Nights.

Vibes. Music. Bomb sangria. Delicious catfish strips. Feels like home, if you know what I mean. I came on a random solo trip on a Saturday and THEY HAVE SATURDAY HAPPY HOUR!!! I will definitely be back, and telling all my friends. I’m glad they’re in town.
