Visited here accidentally but turned out to be a great one! We ordered Ras malai (like a spongy cake drowned in milk and spices) and that was so yummy. The milk wasn't too sweet. Then we tried the veggie samosa and that tasted fresh, served warm, big portion with fresh chutneys on the side.

They seemed to have a nice close-knit community relying on this shop and that made the vibe pretty intimate in the shop. All in all we would try more of their food and sweets if we are around the area again!

We stopped here on a road trip and had amazing food. It's a great casual authentic Indian food restaurant, the kind where they don't ask how spicy you want your food- it's just spicy (if that applies to what you ordered). We didn't realize we'd also need to specify we wanted rice, so we added that after. You order at the counter and pay for your meal after eating. If we'd had room we would've also had dessert (there are 4 cases of them) but we'll have to wait until we come through town again.

Fantastic Indian sweets, I was delighted at how tasty every single thing I got from here was! I also had the palak paneer, paneer Tikka, and aloo gobi, with some breads, absolutely perfect!

First thing when you walk in this place is super clean! First impressions is everything and the atmosphere was pleasant. The host greeted me as I entered. I ordered the Chana Masala and the Palak Paneer. It was super delicious!! This is my new favorite Indian restaurant. I used to go to Edison to find food but now I have somewhere local in town where I can get the same amazing flavors. Next time I'm going to try the Paneer Tikka Masala. I heard that is a fan fave!

Really good place. Their food tasted just like your mom cooks at home. Yummmy!!!! During our vacation we dined and took out twice and we ( my husband and I) really loved it. The prices are reasonable too.The staff was friendly and really helpful in accommodating our requests. Uncle Ji who was running the shop is a very friendly person as well.

It’s great family run place that sticks to traditional favorites and gets them spot on. Very few places gives you this instant sensation upon entering that this is going to be your favorite for a long while. Every dish is carefully crafted to a simple perfection that the most age old establishment back home can boast of. The range of sweets is amazing and includes mostly all North Indian delicacies. Even though I haven’t technically lived in the northern part of the country, but my brief stay in Delhi for a couple of months, my Punjabi roommate’s mom’s cooking, and all the instances of my vacations spent on road side dhabas of the north was brought back with each spoonful. Being a Bengali foodie is tough but my love for the rustic yet fabulous favorites of our diverse country will always make me celebrate them, no matter what differences might govern other people.
This is an absolute must try 😊
Thank you for the wonderful experiences!

P.S. This bhature felt like an oil free version of a crispy yet soft whiff of cloud on a plate of golden sunset!

I don’t think any other Indian restaurant is even close this good, Pure authentic Punjabi/North India food, no extra oil/spices/ingredients, to the point home style food.

Definitely must try.

Fantastic choley bhature and gobi parantha. Burfi was super fresh and not overly sweet = perfect. Solid masala chai too. Reminded me of eating in India. Wish I lived closer to it but worth the drive!

Ordered 100 somosas a wake on Friday and prior to that 100 somosas for my baby shower. Both times people couldn't stop talking about how amazing they tasted! My family gets from this place all the time! The staff is very nice. The young woman helped me pack everything into my car. I would recommend and I will probably order again for my son's first birthday!

Thanks Khalsa!
