I'm very happy with Smiles on the Canal. From the moment I walked in I was treated professionally and honestly. The price was perfect and presented to me in a easy to understand way. The job itself was perfectly done and I felt confident in the Denist & his assistants ability. Pulling 22 teeth and fitting me with dentures in a way that I felt comfortable is something I'm very grateful for. I also appreciate the follow up as I tend to ask a lot of questions. I LOVE THE WAY I LOOK and I'll be happy to recommend Smiles on the Canal as much as possible. Also if you ever need a reference I will be happy to provide a commercial for you.

Smiles on the Canal is a wonderful office! We had an emergency for our child and without hesitation, Dr. Mapes texted me first thing in morning and got us same day appointment. She was even so gracious to get us in the first appointment for anesthesia and surgery. My husband and I also see other providers within the office and from the front end staff to billing, hygienists and doctors, we could not be more pleased. Such a gem to have right in our own town with compassionate providers.

Have a huge fear of the dentist. Looked up reviews on this practice after cracking a tooth and losing a filling. Could not of found a kinder gentler dentist and assistant. They are Awesome . Had to have a tooth extraction and it went so smooth.Highly Recommend

Dr. Mapes and Yahida are amazing! My 4 year old son needed an extraction, and they both made him so comfortable. Highly recommend them and Smiles on the Canal. ❤

I’ve been a patient here for the past 15+ years! The staff are absolutely wonderful and the environment is fantastic for adults and kids alike! Kathy and Serena are so patient and gentle with my boys (5&4). I highly recommend!

I’ve been going here about 15 years and it’s always been great. From prior ownership to new its been a smooth transition. Serena is always a pleasure and does a great job.

They are all so kind and helpful. Chair side manner is phenomenal from every employee I’ve encountered. Dr. D is great and thorough!

I would recommend these guys to anybody I work for a job that has many problems I have to reschedule more than I should ever they're always super understanding knowledgeable professional I am someone that's terrified of dentist they always make me feel welcome people that are friendly and nice from the receptionist do the doctor I've had a root canal done a couple fillings and cleanings and it all went better than anybody I've gone to before I live an hour and 15 minutes away plenty of dentists around my area and I wouldn't go to anybody else thankyoul for helping me take care of my teethy

We love going to the dentist to see Dr. Mapes!! Serena did a great job cleaning my 3 year olds teeth. They are always so patient, energetic, and fun. My son loves to go there to hear what a big boy he is. They let him wear sunglasses, watch his favorite show, pick their new toothbrush and prizes. He always leaves so happy!

Beautiful clean space, patient and knowledgeable staff, super easy to get into the office with the stroller, looking forward to coming here for years to come!

Our first time ever going here and it was absolutely incredible. All of the staff were smiling and very friendly. The doctor was absolutely wonderful, went over everything and most importantly made sure to make me feel at ease with answering all questions. Would recommend this place to everyone! I cannot stress enough how my son’s experience was life changing! He’s autistic and at first was overwhelmed walking in. But within minutes of meeting Dr. Mapes he slowly calmed down, allowed her to interact with him and followed her directions. I say life changing due to the eye opening experience of how her patience and dedication shined through and showed me how medical visits can be pleasant for my child.

The hygienist was spectacular..Like I told best I have experienced yet. I arrived early, I was brought in early. That is unheard of. Met the Doctor, very nice and friendly. First time I felt like the did what I was there for and did not find extra things to spend money on. All around great experience. I will be back for my six month appointment. Thank you
