The food is good, they are so fast. If you like Noodles, they only have lo mein 😔 I prefer thinner noodles. But still, I could have dinner from there every night 😜

I've been coming here for awhile like 2+ years love it i hate when Chinese restaurants can't make a decent fried rice and I found out that they make it here just the way I like it I very tried alot of places south plainfield and I just can't get over how they don't season their fried rice anyways the steamed pork dumplings are fantastic!! Love them so rice and filled with flavor honestly my favorite thing here if you come get the dumplings for sure

Excellent all around Chinese takeout 🥡. We enjoyed all of their items including crab meat fried rice, chicken & broccoli 🥦, beef chow fun (best, tender & flavorful beef of any takeout place we’ve tried), wonton soup had 10, big wontons in a large container - (all other places in the area give you only 8, & usually tiny size). Found them just last week when we joined the newly opened LA Fitness center next door 💪. This is our new, go to Chinese place 😊.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant near my house. I used to go to Elizabeth for Chinese food, now no more. they have good broccoli with brown sauce, pork fry rice, general tso chicken, fried chicken. It is always fresh and yummy. Check it out!

First time ordering from this place and the food was amazing, I generally don’t order Chinese food often and if I do it’s from the same place but the food here was amazing and definitely will order from them again. I ordered shrimp with mixed vegetables and a side of roasted pork fried rice. The vegetables looked and tasted fresh, the shrimp were jumbo size and decent amount, also fresh and the roasted pork fried rice was really good too. Definitely a 5 star.

Hands-down my favorite Chinese take out place of all time. Every time I would try some place else, I couldn't help but compare it to Hunan Kitchens food. Hence, why I don't go anywhere else! They have the best chicken and broccoli and pan fried dumplings.

Finally found a decent Chinese take out place. Most everything is done perfectly. They also give large portions. The owners are very friendly & always eager to please even though I am forever asking for slight ‘customization’ of my selections (‘please add this’ or ‘none of that’) & if you ask for extra anything like shrimp or whatever, they don’t gouge you on price. I really like this place and recommend you try it. AAA+++

Best food ever! I moved from So. Plfld in 2016 & still have not found a good chinese restaurant to ever come anywhere close to their quality! Hunan Kitchen has spoiled me! I do make the hour plus drive there to get my favorite; General Tso's shrimp. Big tasty, lightly battered shrimp in delicious sauce. All other places I've tried use the little salad shrimp lost in a ton of thick tasteless batter!

Local asian food joint, great for take-aways, very affordable, well sized portions, food is cooked fresh, food looks smells and tastes great, they accept all major credit cards, take phone orders, fast service, lots of variety on the menu - what more can you ask for from a no frills Asian restaurant. I love their Chicken Wings in Garlic Sauce, their combo's are good too.

I eat here once a week or so, really love their food. Sauces are tasty, love how they cut the veggies big & keep everything crunchy, both chicken & beef dishes are always tender and delicious. All around everything I've ever ordered from here is great. Always super fast too. Definitely recommend the potstickers (pan fried dumplings), Hot & Sour soup, pepper steak, moo goo gai pan, chicken with green beans, sesame seed chicken, garlic sauce dishes, crab rangoons, general Tso's chicken..

Good food and clean setup inside. Egg rolls and soups and sweet and sour pork is great. Big parking lot outside also. Lunch special Monday-Saturday for $6.75 and includes soup.

Well this has ended up as my go-to Chinese takeout 🥡 place. While they could do more to amp up the flavor of their fried rice, I’ve found most of their other offerings to be flavorful and delicious. This is a hard working & customer-centric business that always does the right thing. For example, in their wonton soup, a small always contains 5 large, tasty wontons and follow on, a large soup always has 10 of them! Very smart in my opinion. I love their Chow Fun, Chow Mein, Lo Mein & just about everything else on the menu. Portion sizes are always packed to the brim in the containers! Also, they happen to be very friendly and eager to please. I highly recommend Hunan Kitchen and hope they have a flourishing business for a long time to come. Thank You, Hunan Kitchen. 🥡

Amazing food!! Their veggie dumplings are the best I have ever had. Wish they had their own delivery service.

This place is simply the best. Always friendly, have amazing food and prices are reasonable. I order late sometimes on accident and they still take care of me.
