Called in for the first time & got shrimp lo-mein, they were quick & the meal was 10/10 the best chinese food Ive had in a minute definitely will be back!!

This is a very good place to get Chinese food.Always hot and delicious.I gave it 4 on the service because if don't call in there is a wait.Its standard issue as far as the interior.Nothi g fancy.No dining in.

The portion was good and the flavor was great. Fresh and the chicken was great. More expensive than what I like to spend but the taste was there.

Ivy is so friendly and professional. Food and service are great! She is so nice to my mom and kids. Always greets her customers, remembers your order and goes above and beyond.

The food was GREAT!!! We just moved to NJ from Brooklyn and we couldn’t find a good Chinese spot. We kept trying the local restaurants but was always disappointed. One place we ordered from prepared our fried rice from parboiled rice… horrible! We kept searching and saw this place had great reviews. We ordered boneless spare ribs, pork fried rice, general tso chicken, and shrimp & broccoli. Everything was perfect! Super tasty and didn’t even add any soy sauce to my food. I think this place is better than our usual spots back in NY. The service is also great. The lady that took our order was super nice and quick. If you want good Chinese food this is your spot.

Don't let the outside facade fool you. What they lack in decor they more than make up for in flavor and quality. The woman that takes orders is friendly and answers all questions pertaining to menu and ingredients. They will also make food to your preference: I like my fried tofu extra crispy. I recommend the garlic sauce fried tofu as well as the General Tso tofu. Also the General Tso chicken and shrimp fried rice as well as the Singapore Mai Fun! The iced tea is cold and sweet, perfect on a hot summer day. And they deliver. This is our 3rd time here and we have referred so many people and all have been highly satisfied with their orders.

Their food is amazing! My compliments to the chef and all staff. Every bite tastes the same, Delicious! When u ask for hot and sour soup you can actually taste Hot and Sour soup. Egg Foo Yun is always looks fresh and appetizing.. and tastes the way it looks. 😋

I love Hillside Kitchen! Ivy is always very friendly. The food tastes great. This is the only place I go to in Hillside. Love the chicken and broccoli and the boneless spare ribs.

My favorite Chinese food restaurant. The food is great quality, and the owners are wonderful people. Always greeted with a smile, and as a repeat customer (been eating there since they opened) the owner makes sure that the food goes out right, fast and delicious. The delivery guy is also a very nice and friendly person. Great prices for lunch specials, as well as the regular prices for dinner. The food has always been wonderful. It's a hidden gem that residents of Hillside and surrounding areas know they're lucky to have here.
As a smaller place it could be easy to overlook, but that'd be a mistake. The quality of the food is something you might expect from a fancy restaurant, but get as take out. Best Chinese food in the area by far.

I love ordering from here. The pork fried rice taste amazing, chicken everything! The service is amazing, the lady at the front is very sweet and friendly. My husband has been going there since he was 15 and he is now 27 years old and still loves eating from here !

Wonderful group of people and the best Chinese take-out food I’ve ever had. Any time I need alterations/substitutions, they are executed perfectly and without price increase or hesitation. Other places have charged me for substitutions, but they never do. The lady who answers the phone (also the one at the front cash register) is the sweetest person ever. Altogether, an extremely accommodating and clean establishment. I would drive miles for this.

I've ordered for pick up, I've also ordered trays for party and have ordered from from uber eats. I have never been disappointed. Food, service is great.

The General Tso's chicken is the best I've had anywhere. And I travel the country a lot. Chicken pieces are a little bigger than I'm used to, and they had that perfect amount of crispness. The flavor was bright, delicious, and definitely Gen Tso's. With no strange ghost flavors or after tastes.
The lady that took my order was polite and cheerful, with a warm familiar smile that made me feel like a valued long time customer.

Omg I love them lol we’ve been ordering from here for a long time. They’ve Never made a mistake. This particular night I meant to order a shrimp egg roll but forgot to mention shrimp....... they gave me shrimp! By the way I judge a Chinese food place by their egg rolls 😆 this place is really good

Always order from here... They always polite and very nice... Their prices are good and the food too, of course... Worth the ride!!!!
