Such a cozy spot. Be sure to make reservations. We were staying at an Air bnb down the street, visiting from South Florida, & did not know to make a reservation, but we were seated at the bar. Beautiful place, with farm to table dishes.
Felt like I had been to heaven, eating the goat cheese appetizer!

The Crest has delicious food, fantastic drinks, great values, and spot on customer service. Love the farm-to-table concept and the gardening aspect to the business! Happy Hour deals are super good, too!

First time here, it was great! Burger below was wonderful with the pickles being a particular highlight. The deviled eggs were also awesome and made in a way I’d never had before, some of the best ever! Service was fast and friendly and there is oodles of both covered and uncovered outdoor patio space. Lot parking is tight but plenty of street parking in the area. Definitely recommend!

WOW. What a place... The food, the people, the ambiance....15/10 would recommend. The walleye was fantastic followed up with some butterscotch for dessert. Talk about a flavor explosion. The service was impeccable. Had this sweet lady Ali, the nicest most sweet server I've ever met. Go get you some delicious food and ask for her. You won't regret it!!!

Th Crest is absolutely amazing. It is extremely versatile restaurant as well, as mid after noon hours great place to grab an obscure craft beer. Early on the weeks great brunch it is. Friday night, couldn't think of a better place to have a date.

Every bartender i have had here knows their stuff when it comes to beer and equally impressive mixing drinks. The kitchen features a farm to table experience that shows of the cooks skills. The food features plenty of Vegetarian, as well as Vegan options. The burgers and stakes are just as good so there is something here for your entire group!

If you have not tried the crest out yet you have to go. Order a burger, some chopps or a salad. You'll be happy with anything you get here.

Great service and almost always busy. Wait times are usually pretty long, but the food is worth the wait! Keep in mind if trying to visit that parking in their lot is limited, so you sometimes have to pay for meters or, on the weekends, find scarce neighborhood parking.

Update: I came here recently and had the black bean burger and fries, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The fries are seasoned wonderfully and the patty was delicious.
Well previously I rated this 5 stars, and I've had some very good food here, but the last time I was here I got the "house burger" which was pretty disappointing. The patty was hardly (if at all) seasoned and didn't seem freshly made. Overall, my experience has been very positive, so I would just consider this an anomaly. They have a very unique selection (yes, it's a shame I was feeling basic and went with a burger), and they generally experiment with flavor combinations in a fantastic manner. Also, the staff is very nice and helpful.

Family events are always hard for us to plan. We have some picky eaters in our crowd along with some tiny humans and then those of us who wish to be a little more adventurous. The Crest Gastropub was a perfect fit for everyone.

There was a great drink selection (lovely local brews and cocktails), a variety of food, and really wonderful service. I really enjoyed the local and homegrown touches and look forward to coming back with a smaller group.

Amazing place. They grow their own food, make smart sustainable choices, and the food is spectacular. Great diamond in the rough.

Lucked into this place driving from Cleveland to cincinnati.

This experience was something I had been looking forward to for a while - I have followed The Crest on Instagram for a while now and I frequently find myself exploring their menu just to see what cool combinations and presentations they are doing.

To say that my expectations were exceeded would not sufficiently communicate the magnitude of how positive of an experience was created! The garlic bread was absolutely delicious - such a fresh and fun take on something that has become mass produced. I feel that some of the allium on top could have been cut up more - but that’s more personal preference.

Then we got our drinks - with it finally being warmer they were just so refreshing! The Martha My Dear was not overpowering in any capacity and found balance in the fresh basil.

For the entrée, I had the walleye and loved every bite - the fresh dill came through periodically and paired well with the richness of the sauce. And of course the pickled rhubarb was a wonderful bright contrast to the savory depth of the fish.

We didn’t get dessert this time, but I’m thinking we definitely should next time!

A beautiful, trendy atmosphere; a new way to experience Appalachia; and a genuinely well thought out menu - I would recommend to anyone to get dinner at The Crest!

Manages to be rustic but not busted. Feel old and homey, rather than like a cheap throwback. A very unique place to eat in atmosphere if not food.

However, the food is also great! Love that the menu is highly seasonal. Had the veggie burger and a salad. Both were delicious and had unique spring vegetables you don't see every day. Also sampled my partner's fries and they were top tier.

Had a glass of red wine--house pour so I am not sure exactly what it was.

Did not catch the waiter's name but he was suitably attentive and had a natural warmth.

A little pricy but you're paying for quality. Will definitely come again.

Really really good! Service was almost too friendly... waitress really on top of it and extremely conversational. King Trumpet Mushroom was SUPER interesting (tasted wonderful). Pork was also great.

My boyfriend wanted to come check out The Crest on a Tuesday night for their steak special. Definitely worth the drive. He was impressed and satisfied with the steak and peppercorn sauce which his compliments on food can be rare. I haven't had a decent burger in some time and, for once, ate every bite of the house burger! Coming here made up for our dissatisfaction with a few restaurants over the past couple months.
I love that they try to locally source as much ingredients possible and it shows. I feel the prices reflect the quality.
Looking forward to trying the Buffalo chicken hearts and pearl barley mushroom Risotto next time!

Had to wait a bit at the bar to get a table but the Monday happy hour is such a good deal that it was worth the wait. We had a great time and the cocktails were delicious. I got the Crest salad and tried my partner's pork belly, both were fresh and very flavorful. Our server was also excellent. We will be back.

The service was excellent. Their beer selection is excellent. I don't remember when I've had better fish. The only negative is that I don't live closer.

Been here a couple times over the past three years. I am really glad the food is consistent. The Crest Burger is the best. They also have homemade hot sauce. Ambiance is awesome, decor is great.

Love the rotating menu, there is always something new to try! Great cocktails and beer selection, and good non alcoholic options too! And if you’re debating, just get the fries!
