GNC

I normally order online, for pricing and options, but wanted to give them a try. Price was the same as Amazon and they have a very friendly and knowledgeable manager.

Staff is amazing, Marco is super knowledgeable. Even tho there phone has been down he informed me it was because they’re waiting for a new one to come. He helped me get a really great regimen with all of my supplements. I’m down 15 pounds now and counting. Go there you will not regret it!!

Woooooow! Is all I am going to say... I suppose the previous staff moved to better opportunities, but the recent person they decided to hire for GNC is so unprofessional, rude, and has been closing the store ON PURPOSE during day hours. This is three days in a row that he keeps saying that I’m coming during the time they’re about to close up. They open up at 11am and close at 8pm. Normally, they close the registers 10 to 15 minutes prior. I don’t know what made GNC hire this guy, but he doesn’t even look like he works out a day in his life... Don’t come here to just collect a paycheck and sit behind the register and intentionally hide every time a customer shows up at the window/door. You’re very conniving and absolutely ridiculous. As a regular customer, I won’t be returning.

UPDATE - Jason B. was understanding and compassionate. He took the time to explain that the owner took action on the individual who was responsible for closing the shop during business hours. The person is no longer employed. For the inconvenience, Jason gave me a discount for the pre-workout I originally came in for. I’ll definitely be returning as a regular. Thank you guys for resolving the issue!

Good service friendly staff

Alot of nutritional supplements but overpriced.

Middle of the interview, by then I knew he wasn't going to let me in, he asked my name again "Is that Indian?" Then he said "see I want someone who's good with people"... implying that I wouldn't be, because I'm Indian. I don't have an accent, I used to be a teacher, Captain of my basketball team, daily gym rat..now a project lead with several people reporting to me...I'm glad I didn't get hired because I went on to get a 6 figure salary that following year.

But my point, you're racist. You shouldn't be working with people yourself.

Few weeks later I went in dressed up in workout clothes and he didn't even recognize me. Until the very end when I was checking out and asked me have we spoken before? I was in shock that the dude has no skill with people himself.

The Internet says this store opens at 0900 and their sign says 0930. But the girl who was suppose to open the store at 0930 was 5 minutes late and just walked in, locked the door behind her. When she saw that I tried to open the locked door, she went right on with her business. She didn't officially unlock the door until 0940 and when myself and the other patron walked in she didn't greet us at all. So unprofessional. I'm going to order online from now on.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Rob, the manager, is beyond unprofessional and has no customer service skills. I spend hundreds of dollars a month at GNC and when I tried to exchange an item for a different flavor without a receipt, he said there's "nothing he can do" and that being a member "doesn't matter". He then called the franchise owner, Ahmad, who told him to give me half the price I paid towards the exchange (they can look in the system and see exactly how much I paid for it since I bought the product only 6 days ago). I've exchanged items without a recipe before at other GNCs without any issues (supposed to be one of the benefits of being a member). He also didn't know his store number as the manager. Save your time and go to the GNC in Rockaway or Roxbury. Or just go to Vitamin Shoppe. Maybe if they respected their customers their shelves would be full...
