Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food was great and fresh, we liked it very much. We were really hungry and each dish was more than enough for our appetite.
The fried catfish was great and the meat loaf had a lot of meat.
The service was great as well. The atmosphere will give you a feeling of the 90s with very antique things around.

I was traveling in the area, and since I am familiar with this chain, I figured I would stop in for breakfast. This restaurant and store combo is super cute inside. They have a decent sized food menu with exceptionally reasonable prices. I ordered the Grandma's Sampler with a cup of coffee (with refill), and everything came to well under $20 and it tasted great. Since I went on an early morning weekday, the service I received from my server Katie was pretty quick. I also checked out the little store prior to leaving. The prices are a bit steep, but everything looks of good quality, and the store is well stocked and organized. They have really great gift ideas for any season and for all ages. A major plus is that they have a good-sized parking lot on the premises. I definitely recommend checking this location out, and I will be sure to stop by again the next time I am in the area.

The place are pretty good lots of space, you need to be a little early so you can join the moment more comfortable, the attention are really nice and the foods are also good in my opinion, if you like spirit drinks unfortunately are not available on this location order them that I really recommend.

The breakfast was really good and our waitress was attentive and polite. Also love their country store!

Our waiter, Nolan J was most attentive. Brought us our menus and drinks right away. Cared to see we had biscuits and corn bread before the meal. Our food was timely and fresh! He stopped by our table to ask how we were and if he could bring us anything? Our family couldn't be more pleased with the service.

Enter though shop to get to restaurant. Shop is amazing. The passion fruit candy stick is amazing. A ton of knick knacks. There is something for everyone. I was very pleased with customer service from restaurant and store. Shop prices are moderate. Bare in mind I come from NYC. The breakfast platter I had was too salty and was not a fan of blended grits. I like to taste the grittiness. Overall, id like to come back again for the experience!!!

I only when in to shop, I brought 2 mugs and the lady that served me was wonderful. She was attentive from the start, assisting me in the selection of a butterfly mug.

She clearly went out of her way to make sure that I saw all that the store had available. When I walked in I was looking for a replacement of one I purchased a few years ago. Although that one wasn't in stock, she was able to help me select a mug that me wife was very excited to receive.

I wish that I knew her name but she was a mature f/m white who works part time hours.

In closing, she is someone special in Cracker Barrel.

Never have had a bad experience at any Cracker Barrel. The one in Clinton, NJ is a halfway meeting place for dinner for my wife and I and my sister. We always choose Cracker Barrel for its delicious homemade dinners, great atmosphere and service and my wife and sister love shopping at the store. Last time we were there a young man named Bennett was very attentive, was happy to make recommendations and respectful. Just another great example of the friendly servers that Cracker Barrel hires to maintain high quality of service. Will never look for another restaurant to meet my sister at.

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite places. I drove an hour to go there. It is a very homey feeling and I love their food and their country store. The people at the Clinton one were very nice and friendly.

This place is always packed. You cannot get a better value for your money.
I do wish they would clean up the floor and re-do it. It always comes off as dirty and sticky.

I got the hash brown casserole tots with the Tips, tenders, and shrimp dinner plate!!! Everything was on par with greatness!!!

Overall this is what I come to know and love about cracker barrel all across the country as a truck driver. This location absolutely nails it and brings it on home for any weary traveler needing a feel of home comfort food 😍😍😍😍. Don't change a thing my people, y'all rock!!!!
Just wanted to add , definitely one of the more pristine and clean locations I have ever seen and I'm kinda ocd 😜😜. Some pics for the drool, I didn't slow down on the plate no pic of that deliciousness 😁.

P.s. that peach cobbler don't taste home made does feel upscale and I enjoyed that tantalizing tingle it had of light sweet and perfect citrus twang with that creamy melty vanilla ice cream in it , just perfection 🤌🤌🤌🤌.

My family and I had a Lovely Time and a Wonderful Meal. Our Server Bobbie was the Best. It was Great Fun to shop in the Country Store too. Cracker Barrel is One official my Favorite Places to visit.

Good breakfast options all day. Beans and greens are very good. Service has been good when I have eaten at this location.
2024: I really love the pancakes with Zero sugar syrup. Trying to manage my A1C through diet and exercise and this aligns with my goals.

I've been going to shop and eat at Cracker Barrel in Clinton for over 10 years. Even when I stayed at The Hampton Inn which is right next door I still chose Cracker Barrel's breakfast options over The Hampton Inn's continental breakfast that was included with the cost of my room. Aside from one bad experience while my family and I were waiting to be seated I have no complaints. The food is GREAT 👍🏾. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the following dishes: Friday Catfish fry⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾, the big breakfast options, the Sunday Chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, the steaks, again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, the chicken noodle and beef noodle soups ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾, the clam chowder ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 and the vegetable sides ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. The servers are friendly and professional.
The gift shop is like stepping back in time so you'll find items that are hard to find in other stores.
And it's free parking.
Go, eat good at reasonable prices and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. It's November 2023 and the temperature is starting to drop so if you're planning on going, try to get a table near the fireplace. 👍🏾😉

This is the second time I have ordered from Cracker Barrel in Clinton, N.J. I always forget to add the time I am picking my food up, which therefore leads to me having to wait. My fault. The crew is always so pleasant and welcoming. I drive 45 minutes to get there, however it's well worth the trip.

took my daughter, grandson and my wife to lunch and had a great meal and lots of fun. My grandson is Autistic and just loves Cracker Barrel and the Pancakes and Bacon, He always buys a gift when he goes there and enjoys the musical caricatures..

Cracker Barrel in Clinton is the best. The workers are friendly and accommodating. I usually visit this site every 2/3 months. The dinning area is clean and welcoming. I usually have breakfast or lunch and take home 4 to 6 dinners. I absolutely enjoy shopping while waiting for take out. I live in the Somerville area- it is a nice relaxing ride. The food selections have something for everyone. Reasonable prices!

Great place for adults and families.

Restaurant is clean, you get great service, everyone professional and friendly and eager to make your dining experience a great one. You can get lost in their store with things you didn't even know you wanted till you bought it.
Holly, one of the servers, is rhe best , personable, and friendly been there for years, and we always ask first for her. She always makes sure you enjoy everything you ordered If you get her tell her, that her friend said hi and recommended you to have her serve you.All the staff n servers are great. Prices are great, you more for the money. Highly recommend the Cracker Barrel in Clinton, NJ, to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

When we were seated by the hostess she said there was only one kids menu left which left one of my children feeling a little bummed about that. A few minutes later my husband asked our waiter (I think his name is Bennett) if there were any kids menu and he came back and said there were none at the hostess counter but would check in the back. Just a few minutes later, he came back with kids menus which made us so happy. It's the little things like this that really speaks to quality service and customer satisfaction. This review is solely based on service since my food has not arrived yet.
