Washington Diner

Much better than I expected. We Highly recommended the Washington Diner. Clean throughout. Very tasty foods. One of the best hostesses we've had in a very long time. Very accommodating. Pricing was as expected; very fair. They're located in a decent spot which had ample parking. The only issue was the lavatories were being cleaned and signs should've been posted.

This is a wonderful diner! The food was great and delivered quickly (we ordered corn beef hash, chicken nuggets and waffles, a chicken salad wrap and a pastrami sandwich, they were all excellent), the workers were polite and pleasant, the booths were clean, and the overall atmosphere was delightful! My family will absolutely be visiting whenever we’re in the area!

I was just passing through the area with my friends who live in the town, I was craving some breakfast after a long night of celebration and snacks. I'm from up north where the diner experience.... Isn't as common. It does exist but...it's different. Semantics. This place does it all. It's a chromed out building with red, big ol retro font diner. Goin side and the smell of the griddle hits you in the face. I could already tell. This was going to be a meal worth demolishing. I'm a simple guy, I like my eggs I like my breakfast meats, and I like my starchy potato and bread. Simple order, probably done 1000 times over by the cooks at the establishment, out in minutes. The speed and efficiency of this restaurant is staggering to me. The food was hot and ready in what seemed like no time. My Taylor ham, and my home fries, glorious. Normally I'm at the table for like 20 minutes where I'm about. Our waitress was on the ball though, checked our coffee, asked us about the food, was super nice. My only regret was not getting more food, I could've used it.

All and all, for the first diner in NJ I've ever been too, I personally couldn't recommend it enough. I am sad I will be waking up tomorrow without the taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll with a side of fries this morning. Award this place a 5 star, compliments to your staff, I had a blast. Thank you for your patience with hung over me.

I enjoyed my recent visit to the Washington Diner. The Washington Diner is a great representation of what a Jersey Diner is from inside and out with aluminum siding, neon lights and a nostalgic feel interior. The inside included spacious booth seating as well as counter seating and was very clean. I was seated immediately and my server was friendly and nice. I ordered a pizza burger deluxe and it was made exactly how I requested it. The burger tasted good and so were the fries. Overall a good experience and will return again.

2 blocks from my house so i go here almost every saturday. Ive never been disappointed.
Thier country fried steak is perfection.

The BEST EVER country fried steak and gravy breakfast! Irene, our waitress was AWESOME !! All the staff was super friendly. We will be repeat customers. It's a 45 minute drive from our home and we'll gladly do it for the food and the service.

The food at the Washington diner is as good as any place I’ve been. Most diners in New Jersey are great and this is no exception. This is a classic Kullman stainless steel diner that’s worth a visit for that reason alone.

We are so lucky to have this excellent diner right here in town. The spanakopita and Greek salad is the best you could ever have. Everything is solid. Classic diner atmosphere.

Nothing like NJ diners! This one is great. We go every single time we come to Washington to see family.

Food was delicious and priced reasonably. Very nice staff and always had your coffee filled. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Since I moved to Texas 12 years ago haven't been in a Dinner in a while. Came here to enjoy The Chicken Franciase over linguine and a Pork roll with eggs.. I always enjoy the new jersey Dinners atmosphere and food.
Chicken was what I expected.. the pork roll haven't eat it yet.
I'll come back here again

Amazing huge portions! I just moved to Washington over a month ago and Washington diner has quickly become my favorite! I’ve worked in diners for 22 years in my younger life, this diner is quality of the high standards! I took a picture of my latest delivery the sandwich is huge, a turkey Ruben three slices of tomatoes, most serve 1 slice that sliced in half, this sandwich it barely fit in its container! I ordered it with sweet potato fries. And huge side of coleslaw came with it and a pickle Delivery within 10 to 15 minutes of ordering! Thank you Washington diner

Great diner. Clean and bright. Friendly staff. Food is always delicious. I've had B,L & D many times never disappoints.

This is hands down the greatest Diner I have ever been to. The food is always excellent, and the portions are huge. It is the best value of any diner I have patronized. The staff is always very welcoming and genuinely concerned about the experience. The atmosphere is that of a traditional stainless metal, Shiny Diner, with both booths and bar stool seating.
The Washington Diner never disappoints.

We eat here regularly. Breakfast and on the weekends, dinner any day of the week. Portions are great, staff is great, price is good, and there is hardly ever any wait for a seat

Very busy but staff did an exceptional job of turning tables and keeping customers seated in order of arrival. Hot coffee. Generous portions. Friendly staff.
