Congregation was founded in 1950. Originally from Sulitza, present day Sulita, Romania. An offshoot of the Ropshitz Hasidic Dynasty, founded by Rabbi Naftali Zvi Horowitz, zt"l, of Ropshitz, present day Ropczyce, Poland. Photos of the aron kodesh are in the Queens chapter of the book, "Ten Times Chai: 180 Orthodox Synagogues of New York City."

1 of the nicest shuls in Far Rockaway, & the main Chassedishe shul,they recently renovated the shul,so now it's a bit bigger,& much nicer
